Straightforward and Logical
Package arrived in good order in less than a day. The package I received inside the box looked as though it had been opened, although all of the parts were present. There was nothing that even resembled an instruction sheet, although on the bottom of the box, on one side, there was an electrical schematic--in Chinese. All that aside, it was a schematic and it did address all that I needed to know for a successful installation.I was installing this in a 1988 Volvo whose lock cylinder was failing. This car originally had electric door locks that were operated by manually by pushing down the lock in the driver's door or turning the key in the driver's door. This locked all the doors and the hatch. As a result, all of the wiring was already present and functional in my car, and I only needed to piggy-back this unit onto the original Volvo actuator to have function in all four doors and the rear hatch. This involved mounting the radio controlled actuator inside the steel structure of the door where it can make a straight pull (or push) on the lock activation rod. The unit has to go inside the door to keep from interfering with the door panel trim. Also, it has to fit in the curve of the window, in such a way that it doesn't conflict with the window mechanisms. Ditto the receiver unit, which mounts near the driver's door actuator. The biggest time consumer in installing this was finding and running a power feed. Ultimately, I chose to use a spare fuse in the fuse box and remove the inline fuse which is supplied in the kit. All in all, this was a pretty simple installation; the necessary steps are apparent to anyone who has a little mechanical/electrical experience.January, 2018 Two years later, the unit is still operating as advertised and has been a worthy addition to my ancient Volvo.

Good product, for small cars
Install was simple. Works well, but the wires may need an extension of you have a larger car. In my E-150, I had to use a back door wire because the other one was too short. I'm only using two doors, unless I decide to run it back to the rear door, 14 feet away.Had it for 3 years, no problems that it has created. I think I messed up the alignment when breaking into the van, so I can't lock the driver one and the other side locks anymore. Happened right after. But if I lock it with the remote, it's fine. Might be a good thing so I don't lock my keys in the van anymore. Lol.

Very limited instructions
This is a typical cheap power lock set. There are very few instructions and what there are is on the box and in chinese. If you have ever done this before then you will have very little trouble installing it even without the instructions. It works pretty good and I dont really see any issues but it has only been installed for a few days. Id recommend this if you are looking for a cheap set and don't mind some trial and error then go for it!

Actuators Burn Out
This kit was easy enough to install, and the lack of real instructions, only a diagram on the box, sufficed to install it. The problem is that the actuators are CHEAP. They burn up after about 30 uses. I installed this kit in my car and it was working fine, then later the same day the passenger door lock quit working, and then a short while later the drivers door lock working. Both actuators burned out. This is the cheapest of cheap quality.

Not a seamless project, but it does work!
I used this on an 04 Hyundai Brio and the experience was a bit difficult. The brackets are thin and the hardware isn't the best.if you use your own hardware and aren't afraid to weld a little bit you'll have a much more long lasting lock system. Remote is actually quite nice though!

Trunk unlock remote!
I don't write many reviews, but I wish I had bought this first. I went through maybe 4 different units before I noticed this. I used just one of the motors to unlock my trunk. I will use the other three for spares. The first remote unit I had made me push the button twice, so if you forgot, you burned up the motor. A remote I ordered straight from China was DOA. After that I just hid a switch under the spoiler to unlock it, not great but it worked, but that just failed too. I stumbled onto this, and the remote works great! I don't know if I would use it for anything besides a trunk unlock though. These motors are not very robust.
