I'm a 34 waist and after reading the reviews, I ordered the 2XL which turned out to be a bit too small and tight in the butt. I returned those and ordered the 3XL which fit nicely. Sounds strange ordering a 3XL, but if you want them to fit you will need to order BIG. They are very light weight with 2 side pockets and 1 rear zippered pocket and elastic waistband with a drawstring. These will be great for hiking, but a little too lightweight for mountain biking for my taste.

Cool shorts but they are kind of long. They barely sit on top of the knee, almost like full board short length but shorter! I like the above the knee style but I will use these to shill instead of to play sports. The netting inside makes the short heavier than it needs to be. I cut off the net and only left the front part of the net for extra "support."Overall these shorts are pretty cool but I wanted the fit to be a bit straighter, closer to the leg. They are a bit baggy, they poof a little to the sides but nothing crazy. 4 stars for these shorts, pretty cool, strong fabric, nice pockets that's for sure, back pocket is very helpful, but length and style are a bit off in my opinion. 4 Stars.

Solid outdoor shorts.I'm old so I have issues with shorts that are too short, but these are a pretty good length.Not down to my ankles but long enough that my sexy legs aren't distracting everyon on the trails.Right about top of the knee on me.

I needed a pair of biking shorts that weren't the nerdy, geeky lycra "cycling" shorts I refuse to wear. These fit the bill. And I pair them with Jockey microfiber boxers. They don't ride up and my swamp but dries quickly after each ride. Excellent product. The sizing in weird: I had to order an XXL for a 33 waist. But who cares; they fit great.

So far I really like these shorts (and the price). Sizes seem to run small, so I ordered larger than normal. My only negative issue is with the ends of the drawstrings; they come apart while laundering, and as you can see in the photo, fray.

The fit is extremely flat and weird. I dont know how to describe it except they feel really narrow. Like the waist and the rest of the shorts are the same width.. Maybe the XXL size is something to consider too. This fits like a mens medium in the waist, but more like a small in the hips/rear.

Although these are not categorized as mountain biking shorts, I bought them specifically for that purpose when riding on hot summer days. It is a well-made apparel with high quality material and accurate sizing. I've worn it on countless rides and has held up very well. Despite the number of wash cycles these have gone through it hasn't shrunk, faded or ripped. It still looks and feel as it did when new. Overall, I’m satisfied with these shorts and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for mountain biking or any other outdoor sports you may be into.

These shorts are extremely comfortable and durable. I bought a second pair. They offer great movement and flexibility with a light but durable material. I have used them for hiking, yoga and lounging. I would recommend these shorts to anyone.
