We thought we had found the holy grail of dog toys, 8 month old Labrador loved it, had her running round like a crazy happy idiot! In fact this toy was so effective at getting her heart pumping we limited it to 10 minutes playtime per day to get some of that puppy energy out of her. Then it happened, had it 5 days, got it out the toy box for her, and a couple of minutes later thought hold on - she looks like she’s got ahold of that (basic premise of how they work being given the shape the dog can’t get ahold of them, they shoot out erratically from between their paws eveytime they catch the egg, and the chase starts again) - and it was smashed. Don’t know who is more gutted, me or the dog……I wish I was a millionaire, I’d happily buy one every couple of days for the fun she has, but less than 1 hours play is pretty bad even for dog toys!Edit: Contacted the company and they were absolutely fabulous. Responded quickly and are sending a replacement. Have changed my review from 3 to 4 stars to reflect this. Will come back and review again once pup have time to test out the new egg.

I have a shar pei who has a big mouth but he can’t pick it up at all way to big .. so grandson uses it as a football

This was a recommendation from another dogwalker and has been an excellent toy for my 8 month old Labrador. It is a constant challenge with very unpredictable movements, so remains interesting at all times. We have had it almost three weeks now and it still looks like new, despite being bashed around. It does make a lot of noise though, hitting the furniture and walls etc, but does not seem to cause any damage.The dog loves it.

my dog loves chasing this egg and cant put it in her mouth great fun not as hard plastic as her others and lighter ok price would recommend large for medium sized dogs .

Not quite sure what the appeal of these is (but them I'm not a dog!), but on recommendation from a Facebook group I came to look for one of these for our puppy.She LOVES it. She'll chase it around and play with it for ages.It's rock hard plastic as well - but not brittle - I doubt even the biggest strongest dogs could damage it.

We have a standard labradoodle (30+kg) who destroys any and every toy given to him.. except this!The egg is perfectly sized, too big to be able to chomp down on and destroy but easily grabbed by a human hand. We’ve had other “indestructible” plastic toys that our dog has been able to scratch into the plastic making it rough but this egg remains smooth (although lightly scratched)It’s hilarious to watch our dog chase after this egg as it pings around the house, I’d highly recommend!

My dog will play with this in the backyard for hours! It will break in the extreme cold but it's cheap enough to replace. It is very loud in the house, especially if you have wooden floors so outside works best for us.

Ich hatte zuerst gedacht: Ein Ei für den Osterstrauß. Nur größer. Herstellungskosten : 3 Cent. Da ist die Verpackung teurer. Material Kunststoff / Plastik wie bei einem Ei für den Osterstrauch. Für Hunde unter 25kg zu groß.Aber!!!!!! Mein Hund hat das erste mal mit gespielt und ich musste ihm das Ei wegnehme da er schon Schnappatmung hatte. Er konnte einfach nicht davon lassen. Mal sehen wie es weitergeht.
