Works exactly as advertised. Great for anyone who needs to take notes of any sort in the rain.

I use this notebook to while away time in my gym's wet sauna. The pages are thicker than most notebooks, but that's part of the secret of them not falling apart from the moisture. DEFINITELY worth my money.

They work great for work notes, they don’t smudge when wet or oily.

The sheets get pretty dirty, the water resistant coating, or at least I think that's what it is, is a dirt magnet, and these are suposed to be field notebooks

This was a Christmas gift for my best friend who is working on becoming certified as a naturalist. She was very happy and wanted to use it right away.

These are great for the woods. Very high-quality, lots of pages, and perfect size for my intended usage. I think they’re too small for someone who wants to Use them as a journal, but for field notes/navigation they are perfect. I got these at a decent price. I wish the covers weren’t so expensive because I would really like to get one, but I can’t justify the pricing on them.

After using the Rite in the rain big ass hard cover notebook, that thing is a blessing. My last one survived more than 30 hours outside in the rain, snow, mud and so on. The only marks it kept from all of it is a little bit of brown on the pages, but only outside, where I would flip the pages with my thumb.Also, it fits in most of my adventure pants pockets. That's cool.Another thing I LOVE is the universal pattern. I hate the Metric field one so, so bad, it's hard to write on it and it's also hard to read. I'm sure it's good for some stuff, but I mostly need to write down data like tree measurements and description of tracks and poop of wild beasts. The universal has lines and discrete dotted square, so it's usable like a normal notebook, but if you need to make a graph, a table or a schema, it's super easy.Though, cause it a spiral binding, it might open and the pages could get off. What I do with it (and really any other spiral notebook) is simply to pass a little string through the spirals and voilà! good to go.You're never, ever gonna regret that purchase

The media could not be loaded.  I used this product for a field trip to the Brazilian Amazon. The notebook performed extremely well in all high humidity conditions, heavy rain and mud. Also, the size is perfect for fitting side-pants pockets. The page patterns are perfect for almost all kind of work. In addition, the spiral bound makes it easier to handle. I had the geological notebook before, yet I prefer this one better right now. The only disadvantage compare to that one is the quantity of pages.

Notes molto funzionale , li uso da molto tempo e mi sono sempre trovato bene.L'unico neo riguardo questo ordine.... mi aspettavo la confezione da tre pezzi, invece mi e arrivato un singolo notes, il dettaglio no è molto chiaro, spero che Amazon risolva, in modo che sia chiara la quantità.

Bought for our granddaughter who is going to be hiking the West Coast Trail where there can be quite a it of rain. She likes to keep a journal of all her expoits and knowing the trail she would need a waterproof journal. As well bought her a waterproof pen that will write in the journal.

I can't recommend these highly enough for all outdoor work. The brightly coloured cover ensures you can find it if you set it down in the woods and the waterproof paper makes sure it's useable in all weather! Now if I could just find the perfect pair of gloves to write in I'd be set...
