flimsy, no bottom to file divisions, okay for some things but it will not hold the weight I put that much in it and I though the handle was going to come off

We needed an expanding folder like this one for work to transport files back and forth multiple times a day, and this C-Line has been doing pretty well. The 21 tabs helps with keeping everything organized, and the elastic band prevents all of the files from falling out. The plastic body is pretty sturdy and is able to handle a good 100 sheets or so without any issues.

The only issue I have is the light weight and not as stable as an older version that had some bottom weight to keep file upright.Hence, recommend that you think it thru and place your heavier load dead center and / or adjust accordingly.Don't overfill...I had two older files and ended up picking up three as replacements...should work out better.I use it to store stuff that I may need to get to right away...medical, billing statements, home insurance, auto. I keep other statements etc. in binders and on the shelf and purge when I can.

I bought this item to ensure organization of my expense receipts so I am not caught in a mess during next tax season. This item is perfect for all of my needs. I was able to organize all of my business and personal expenses. I put folders in each divider and used a lable maker to lable each divider. It turned out nice and the handle makes it easy to travel with to the office. I also can fit my ledgers in there and am never worried that important items will fall out. This is an exceptional value for the price and I have recommended this product to many others.

The sides are the problem with my C-Line 21-Pocket Poly Expanding File. The handle is heavy duty and the plastic outside is high quality and reinforced, 5 stars. I love how it expands but it can be a little awkward, 4 stars. But the problem with the sides brings the rating down to 3 stars. You see, it seems that in order for it to be able to expand the sides are left completely open. There is nothing on the sides to keep things inside. Once I started filling it with paperwork the plastic partitions inside started popping out the sides. It started slowly but has gotten worse over time as I have used it. I have repeatedly tried to push it all back in but they just immediately pop back out. I should make it clear that even with this problem there is no threat of my paperwork falling out or being lost it's just annoying and it looks terrible. Before I started using this item it looked neat, clean and professional, now that it has some paperwork in it it looks cheap and defective. Sorry to say it but I regret purchasing it. I don't know if this is a common defect or just a fluke but I thought I should share.

This file keeper replaces a cardboard model that was satifactory but an earlier model had teared. This appears sturdier, not as fragile. It is more practical; opens wider, tabs insertions can be customized with small labels so the order of files is whatever you want. Opens quite wide, you easily see what you are looking for. Was quite a deal compared to office supplies stores. Only had it for a month; if anything goes wrong, will update. A very good buy so far.

I ended up breaking one of the plastic clips but was prob my fault. I just use to keep doc in a closet organized and works great for that.

The dividers do not go down to the bottom, all the papers can be loose since there are not actual divisions . It is open on the bottom, wish I knew that before , probably should have returned it. I really need the dividers to be secure..
