The TCP Global 6" 100% Wool Polishing & Buffing PadI found this to be a superior buffing pad for compounding a fiberglass boat hull.I used these pads with an inexpensive "Warrior" brand variable speed buffer, with a 6 inch Velcro loop grinding wheel, to compound a 33 foot long boat hull, with Maguires M676 1 step compound.1 used one pad for over 5 hours at 800 RPM. It did a great job.Between each application of the compounding material to the pad, I spread the pad fibers out by brushing hand over the pad.I believe the pad will wash clean and be reusable.The Velcro backing locked the pad to the buffer wheel and held tight.The pads are made of braded wool fiber yarn, and well made.I am very pleased with the result.

Paired together a 6 inch flexible backing pad. Do yourself a favor and just get these. Real wool. Get the spurring tool to clean before and after to reuse these. I got these hot hot hot and no fibers were lost. It fits good. And polishing was a breeze. They function as intended. Best value fir the price and I've tried 3 other brands.

Does the job

They are thick but about 1/3 of the product flys off on first 100 sqft. Then it slows down a little. I’m on here looking for a replacement now because they are not hitting the mark as far as using with compound. I’m using McGuire’s 67 and these pads can’t do the job. So much is missing in pad now it takes two times longer to buff. Another TEMU item on Amazon. I feel like they took me to space and back on this purchase….20 bucks is a rip off!
