Simple and tasty
This had clear instructions and produced a tasty loaf within the hour from start to finish. The idea is to add the liquid to the ingredients in the bag, seal it and then 'massage' the liquid into the flour etc. I suspect I didn't do this slowly enough as the mix was runnier than it should be at first. Next time, I'll add the liquid in smaller quantities and see if that makes a difference.

Hugely expensive
I have been subscribed for a few years , my renewal notification has just arrived. The latest increase if not justifiable for my continuing the subscription .The bread is great , but not the new price which has frequently increased. The latest subscription increasing from £19.03 to £27.95 , making me wonder is it now blessed before leading the factory ?You can live with the odd leaky mixing bag and straightening every baking tin, as part of the whole experience but not this type of increase.I searched for this as Amazon are good at sometimes offering the highest price 1st, over £41 seemingly is the current non subscription price.Do the maths per loaf, wow.Really sorry but I'm out sorry 😞Update : Following my review the price has since dropped to a more realistic price 👍

Good after gallbladder removal.
If you have your gallbladder removed, and suddenly find you can't eat white bread, of any kind, without being ill for 3 days, the question is, would "irish soda bread" make any difference? I noticed I could eat crumpets, but not bread. So what's different? My neighbour gave me shop bought soda bread, but it made me ill for 3 days. However, this Irish soda bread is a subset of soda bread - and there's no digestive upset. There's American soda bread, Irish soda bread, and our very dense soda bread available in the shops. This Irish Soda bread is might lighter than shop bought soda bread. It looks as if there's some link between gallbladder removal, and the ability to eat bread or yeast products. As usual, there's only 3 or 4 papers written and no major trials, so the data is patchy, but enough to say, yes, this can happen, and removing yeast products appears to be the solution.

Fantastic experience overall. Will recommend to friends and family.
Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F(180°C/350°F fan oven) and lightly oil the bread tin. Splash 300ml (1 1/3 cups) of milk into mixing bag, seal and massage to mix. Gently squeeze the dough into the oiled bread tin. Make a cross in the top and sprinkle with a little flour. Bake for 35-40 mins and admire your creation grow. Leave to cool on a wire rack and cover with a towel. When cooled, remove from bread tin, slice and enjoy!
Safety Warning
Always take caution when working with ovens.
