I used a leather bound Letts journal for years and that seems to have been discontinued, so I took a chance on this product. I don't know what it is about the paper, but it's perfect for use with a fountain pen. It's a pleasure to write in it, and the extra width is a nice feature. It's a bit pricey for the number of pages, and I wish that it came in a version with more pages, but the fabric cover might not last through that much use. That said, the paper is worth it.

There’s a warm spot in my heart for this red notebook — my first one filled to end with vivid thoughts. As if it were grabbed out of a foreign film, it was noticeably intimate. Perhaps that’s why I found myself pouring ink to its pages with ease. My soul’s affinity for it, immediate.
