Fun kit, functional games
The media could not be loaded. This was a fun kit to assemble, and practice soldering on. The hardest part was the LED array, which took about an hour to solder as there are 128 to solder in a fairly close quarters. Once assembled, it worked first try! (I didn't mess up the solder joints). This might be a good project for a family introducing their kids into the DIY and "hacker" life, to get them interested. I could see this paired with a battery, and then it would be a hand held gaming device!Pros:* All components are fairly easy to solder (no surface mount)* Easy to play classic games* Extra LEDs provided in case you mess up* Powered by USB (unfortunately no battery option which would be fun)Cons:* Many LEDs to solder, so expect to spend over an hourI'll add a few pictures and a video of me playing snake.

No instructions or manual as described in parts list
I did not receive the instructions or a manual for operation. This item is useless without assembly instructions. No website shown for downloading online.

Very precise soldering necessary nice kit tho’
I had half of the led’s installed before I found out that they had to be installed a certain way had no manual to tell me

Good choice for grandson
This was a gift for my teen aged grandson who is a techy! He started on it as soon as he unwrapped it. It was a hit.

Tow kits 128 LED’s vs two LED grids for display.
There is a similar kit on Amazon where the game features two 8x8 LED grids which take minutes to solder into place .. instead of 128 individual LED’s which no matter how good you are will not line up well. Look at the other kit before you buy this one.
