Used these to add a little light on the subject
I have used a few energy efficient bulbs before and these are the best I've found. Makes the squirrellly ceiling fan light much brighter and has the best white light bulbs of this style bulb and the regular shaped bulbs, I purchased both types.

Excellent Illumination and Easy to Use.
Excellent illumination. The bulbs don't flicker like my older ones. Each bulb is a single piece and not two pieces screwed into one which makes them easy to unscrew and remove if necessary. The shape/ appearance of the bulb is pleasing to eye. They are reasonably priced. Can't comment on its life as I am using for about two months now.

8/10 in working condition, longevity tbd.
These bulbs are bright with a nice warm light quality and they feel nice and sturdy, but 2 out of my set of 10 were doa, and they have only been in use for a short while, so I can't say how long they'll last after regular use. They are installed in outdoor light fixtures, so while that may factor into their longevity, that should not affect their immediate use. I did, however, use different bulbs to make sure it was not the fixture itself, and tried the bulbs indoors to make sure they were truly defective. I can't be bothered to return all 10 just to replace 2 (and take the chance that even more will be defective in the new shipment), but buyer beware - you get what you pay for.

Exactly what I expected
These bulbs are great. Exactly what I expected. Good packaging, all of them were intact upon arrival.

As Advertised
So far, they perform as advertised. Don't forget to clean out the sockets if they are installed base down in an outside enclosed luminaire. I did not do that with a previous set and the dead bugs insulated the new lamps from the power.
