The action has heated up and a killer is on the loose. Still slow burn, but some spicy time has been snuck in. The magic is more intense. This is a fast read that I highly recommend.

4.3 for me.I’m slowly warming up to five stars for this series. I’m only two books in and I’m already loving it. Mika is funny. She’s got a temper and bad attitude but it comes from legitimate issues that she actually wants to work on. I love that the people supporting her actually support her. The guy are funny and I love that they don’t jump on her. This truly is a slow burn (well for one of them at least) and it’s exciting. The murders keep things fresh and I like that they slowly introduce yet another piece of her future’s puzzle. It’s fast, but complete, entertaining, and the sex is hot.Love the sexuals. Love the school. Love the magical world.

I need more interaction from our beloved goddess! I can not wait to fi d out what the world has in store for Mika and her little family. Is Corbin her Raven?? So many questions, so I read on!

Will Mika be able to overcome her fear and master her specialty?We receive a lot of answers, hidden secrets, and even more questions in this book. Mika and her people are all trying to figure out the mysteries that plague them while she tries to control her powers and get on the dodgeball team. On top of that she is juggling 3 guys and trying to figure out how to make a reverse harem work. New challenges keep popping up in their way as their journey continues while keeping the reader on their toes wondering where the story will go next.

FMC is sassy but a down to earth chick who despite her highbrow up bringing sees everyone around her as equal. The plot and sexy heat is an entrancing slow reveal. Flying through each to see where the maze goes

I loved book one, but oh my WORD this book surpassed that by leaps and bounds. Definitely read book one first or risk being lost. So many reveals in this book and a drop your jaw cliffhanger suck you deeper into this world!!!! So much intrigue, secrets revealed, action, a bit of fun along the way. I dare you not to get hooked on this exciting read!

This book picks up right where the other leaves off. This author makes the characters come to life in your mind. Can’t wait to get the next one!

Another amazing book. This second in series was amazing Mika has grown in her use of powers. Now to try and stop the murderer what is she willing to do to accomplish it. Also she learns more about her specialty and what she is. I highly recommend reading this one.

This second book in the series by Emma Dean builds up the tension nicely. There is a murderer loose on campus and Mika is the only one who seems to be close to finding a clue. She is slowly coming to understand her Blood Magic abilities through time spent with Hunter the fox. Hunter has access to libraries not available to the average witch. In them Mika is discovering the history of her magic and is trying to find out why Blood Witches seem to have disappeared from the public witch histories.Alongside trying to solve a murder Mika and Audrey are trying to study hard and train alongside Malachai for the Battle Magic Dodge Ball Team. Mika has feelings for three men and desperately wants to overcome her fear of physical contact and her magical block, but fitting it all seems to be a challenge.The plot in this series is clever and the personalities of the characters are really starting to show, as Mika gets to know them all. Mika herself is a likeable and complex character. She sees her flaws, both magical and personal, and tries to get over them. I like that she is having to work really hard to understand her power as it makes her struggle more believable.I really enjoyed this book and the series is building really well. I will definitely continue to read it.

I had to take a break in this because I was I’ll and couldn’t concentrate fully. These books are shorter than some but since there are so many I’m sure I won’t feel the lack. This one is great because Mika discovers more of her abilities, gains more control of her gifts and ultimately her own life. Her friends are still there supporting her as the story progresses.

Another great instalment to the story. I am eager to learn more about the Morrigan, and the crows. Loving the relationship with Ethan.

This book just like the first in the series takes you on a crazy ride from the start. While mika and her friends try to find the witch stealing organs. The bonds between mika and the guys grow stronger which shows when they have to find her. You will not be disappointed with this series

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love the amount of detail Emma Dean puts into the lore of her books. The creativity of blood magic, and the Morrigan, is fantastic and the mystery is still growing. Bring on next semester at the University of Morgana!
