I decided to measure my pH, TDS, EC, Salinity, and Temperature of my tap water (straight from the sink). I also decided to measure this by the water filtration method we are using (Zero Water - pitcher)I did a couple of scenarios as in my baseline tap water cup. The second one was a current cup filled from a previous filter change. This means it had multiple refills of the water and our current pitcher being used. So probably like 3-7 pitchers already drank.The other test was from a new separate zero water pitcher that has had only one single drain using all 64ozs. I've labeled it as SINK, PITCHER A & PITCHER B each of the pitchers filters had just been changed and I wanted to have a separate comparison for each. I do want to see this tested again after the filter is ready to be renewed (as Zero water suggests it at 006ppm)I really am surprised that the basic tester Zero water gives you is actually good enough just to show you how much bad or good it is working. I did notice that the tested I used which had the ability to test multiple ways was by far a better method and way more reliable andrs accurate in my opinion. Below is the list of tests I have found for my own personal experience and test. I suggest you check it out yourself. Especially when you talk about the difference between the SINK water and the water from the SHOWER/Bathroom Sink. It'll open up your eyes as to why the bathroom was irritating the SKIN for some of the people in my household. I would recommend getting the AquSoft tester & the Zero water filter for drinking. Aside from reverse osmosis filters, this is hands down the best option for those on a budget and are very interested in their own health.The pitcher itself is a durable, easy to clean pitcher. The neutral colouring helps you easily to see when the pitcher gets dirty so you can wash with soap and water and start using it again. The only thing that I can mention about the filter changes would be to make sure you TIGHTEN the filter on correctly (threaded properly). Plus do not, over tighten the tension between the two (pitcher & filter). Otherwise you might have some difficulties removing the old one. So far I haven't had any issues after not trying to tighten it too hard. We drink and use the filtered water for everything. Coffee, tea and cooking etc. You name it and we try using it. Way better than plastic bottles. 10 stars! These filters legit work. I love the dissolvable solvents meter it came with. I knew it wasn't a gimmick because I've used it to test so many water sources, both for fun and also to genuinely test the water. I have crazy hard water where I live that requires a higher level water softener. My water, which is filtered through a whole house water filtration system, plus the water filter on the refrigerator, was registering at a 292! My work water registers at a 102. It's worth it to note that both sources come from different water processing plants in town. I then tested my work water after it was filtered by a Br**a filter that had just been changed the week before, and that only took the level down to a 089, so it didn't seem to do much for the solvents in the water. After filling up my new Zero Filter system, it immediately dispensed at a 0, just like it claims. It's quick and easy to install the filter and fill up the jug, and it filters fairly fast. It states once the water begins registering at a 006 or higher, it's time to change the filter, so it's pretty quick and painless to stay on top of with the handy water tester it comes with.Separate from this purchase, but I do not recommend purchasing this system through Amazon warehouse. I purchased 2 - one for home, and 1 for work, and one came very used and the filter was open, so was likely also a very used filter. The second came missing half of its components including a filter altogether. Stick with the original, new in box variety unless it's truly worth it for just the container alone.Anyway, this is a great great system. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and it's wonderful to know I now have pretty pure water to drink since you never know what might be in water anymore.

The ZeroWater 20-Cup Ready-Pour 5-Stage Water Filter Dispenser is exactly what we were looking for! It's easy to use and appears to be very sturdy. We tested our tap water which showed very high numbers. We also tested the water in our prior water filter (the spigot broke off the old unit for the second time and is not replaceable--you must buy a whole new unit) and the numbers were also very high. When we tested the ZeroWater filter dispenser, the numbers were 000. It fits nicely in our refrigerator and it is very easy to dispense water without having to move the dispenser to the counter. It takes a while for the water to flow from the filter but I think that's why the water is so pure when it comes through and I don't mind waiting a few extra seconds for such excellent results. We just fill it up at night and it's ready for the day when we need it.

I love this product. The water is definitely "cleaner". I need to follow a low iron diet, and this sure helps with all the water I drink (hydrating, coffee, tea, etc). Only complaints: 1}The water trickles through the filter very slowly. That may not be a valid complaint though, because that likely means it's being thoroughly filtered. 2)The lid does not snap tight on the top. I would definitely call that a flaw. Complaint #2 is what keeps me from giving it 5 stars
