Great for indoor seed starting
I find these simply the best. They hold up well to early planting (started seeds in early March to be in the ground mid-May).

Great for a party favor
Great size for 3 plants arranged as a party favor. I used these for baby shower gifts so guests could choose whether they wanted to plant their flowers in the ground or in a planter. There was enough space to stake a thank you note, too. It was a hit.

Not what I expected.
I live in AK and I ordered these because of good reviews and thought it would be an easier way to transplant come summer. After I received them I've been told that the ground in AK is too cold for these pots to disintegrate into the ground. Ugh, how irritating. I've kept them thinking I will find a use for them.

better quality than I was expecting
Very nice size. Used them in table centerpieces, inserted into a decorative 6" pot. People were able to take home the potted flowers in the peat pots without taking my decorative pots.

Able to start small seeds at home using jiffy pots.
I wanted to grow some giant carnations and could not find a seller thst sold the Giants. I purchased some pots and ordered serds. I was able to grow some beautiful carnations starting them in the pots and are now blooming

does not work for me, they are plant killers
the pots soak up all the water, plants would require constant watering
