Having carpal tunnel & often weak, aching wrists, this push button grinder is great. Awesome to have the manual option just in case the batteries die too! But, the design could use a tweak- it takes tremendous force to separate the pieces! There has to be a better way! I use a lot of pepper & refilling this unit is a huge pain in the arse! I had to hold it with my feet & pull with both hands! LOL! But still, very nice pepper mill for what I paid. I've been using a coffee grinder for years & it's really nice to have a uniform grind!

Not impressed. Real weak motor, easier to just use it manually. So why pay more?

Did not work as I expected, notable to load the batteries, very difficult to open.

The plastic cap is hard to put on and wouldn't stay on. It stop working after a couple of months

Excellent but for it being a little difficult to open. Possibly I need to learn to do it better.

My absolute favorite thing about the KmatiQ Oustanding Salt And Pepper Grinder is having the choice to use it manually or battery powered. I’m horrible about keeping batteries in the house, so being able to use it regardless of whether the batteries work or not means it will be functional no matter what.The grinder is sturdy and did a good job grinding both salt and pepper, from a course grind all the way down to a fine grind—manually and in battery mode. I was, however, disappointed to see how little salt/pepper/whole spice actually fits into the chamber. If you have more than one person in the home and plan to use it for something commonly used, like salt or pepper, it will likely need frequent refills. I am happy with the overall size of the unit, but with one third of it being the power mechanism, you don’t realize how limited the useable space is until you try it out.I found disassembling the unit to insert the 4 AA batteries (not included) and to fill the chamber with salt/pepper difficult. I pulled and pulled and when it finally budged the top came off with a jerk, nearly causing the inside parts to spill out. I also feel for the price of the grinder, a set of batteries could have been included. Additionally, it was disappointing to learn that once I removed the endcap to make grind adjustments, it no longer stays on.The grinder looks very nice with its stainless steel appearance and is well suited to today’s modern kitchen. It is a unique grinder that it can be used manually or one handed when powered by battery. Overall, the grinder looks nice and works but there are design flaws that makes it difficult for me to recommend.**I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
