Great macros
In general I think a lot of people need to adjust their expectations when choosing a protein bar.TASTE/TEXTURE: I see a lot of people complaining about taste with these bars. These are not candy bars. These are protein bars offering an incredibly competent spread of macro nutrients in relation to total calories. They are not meal replacements and they are not going to make you fit just by eating one every day for lunch instead of whole foods. I have not been able to find anything comparable in price let alone plant-based.I got the chunky peanut butter because I figured the most basic "flavor" would probably be the best in terms of palatability and I still think this is true. The chunky peanut butter is 190 calories with 21 grams of protein, 17 grams of fiber, and 4g net carbs. Again, it is not a candy bar. It is a dry bar of peanut butter with a bunch of nutrient powders added. It's not *powder* dry, though, more like a bar of peanut butter without the oil. You will likely need a bit of water with it.EXPIRATION/MOLD: I have only ordered one box but so far everything has been fine. There are no signs of mold or expired product and I am about halfway through the box. No Cow does give an explicit warning for any products purchased outside of their website. I would urge people to go to their website and read this disclaimer. It makes sense when factoring in how things like shipping and storage may affect a product like this. I do believe people have received defective product at times but there is a consumer risk clearly stated addressing this.GI IRRITATION: I did not have trouble with these bars. They use a sweetener blend that I urge people to check out to see if they are already aware of anything that might upset their stomach. You may not be aware until you try something and that is always an inherent risk. Again, though, these are not meant to be a meal replacement bar so if you are chugging coffee all morning for breakfast and then eat this bar for lunch I wouldn't expect to not be on the toilet.OVERALL SATISFACTION: So far I am very happy with what I got and will likely continue to purchase No Cow bars. Even the KIND "high protein" bars come in at 250 calories per bar with only 12g of protein, 6g of fiber, and 7g of sugars. I use these on workout days either post-workout or as an in between snack to keep my protein intake higher. I eat whole foods for 3-4 meals/day. They keep me full and do not irritate my system in any way. Thumbs up.

Can’t go wrong if you like Keylime
Do you like Keylime pie like me? Looking for a healthier alternative? This is it. I get the sweet cravings late at night and this hit the spot. And free of my allergens, it’s a win. I’ve tried other flavors and this seems to be the best one yet. It is still a protein bar so don’t expect the happiness that the real deal pie brings, but for what it is, it’s tasty and will def buy and buy again.

Abysmal Disappointment: The Awful Dipped Version of Birthday Cake
Prepare yourself for a tale of culinary calamity and corporate missteps! Once upon a time, there was a seemingly delightful birthday cake flavor that graced our taste buds with joy and boasted a modestly lower saturated fat content compared to its current disgraceful counterpart - the so-called "dipped version," which can only be described as a protein-filled candy bar masquerading as a health food. Alas, the heavens weep for the loss of the original flavor, as No Cow heartlessly decided to discontinue the one glimmer of hope in their otherwise tragic lineup. But the nightmare doesn't end there. Oh, no! Hold onto your wallets, for the prices of this once-beloved bar have been thrust into the stratosphere, skyrocketing by an outrageous sum of more than $4 per pack. One can't help but wonder if they're attempting to compensate for the severe lack of taste and satisfaction with exorbitant price tags. A cruel jest indeed! Now, brace yourselves for the impending disaster. No Cow, blinded by their own hubris, seems to believe that the shift to the Dipped for Birthday Cake monstrosity will be a stroke of genius. Little do they realize the avalanche of outrage that will come crashing down upon them as hordes of disillusioned customers lament the loss of their beloved original flavor and revolt against this unforgivable culinary betrayal. One can only envision the horror that awaits No Cow as they bear witness to the colossal stockpiles of these unsavory bars sitting abandoned in dark, desolate warehouses or gathering dust on store shelves. These pitiful remnants will stand as a haunting testament to their reckless decision-making and the utter disdain for their loyal customers' palates. In conclusion, the downfall of No Cow's once-promising product is a cautionary tale for all who dare to tamper with perfection. May they learn from their catastrophic blunder and, with great humility, bring back the original birthday cake flavor to appease the masses clamoring for its revival. Until that day, we weep for the lost joy of indulging in a delicious and guilt-free treat, and we brace ourselves for the long, dark night of the Dipped for Birthday Cake reign of terror.

Key lime is delicious
I thought the key lime bars were amazing. I've only ever had the blueberry ones before which tasted pretty dry and cardboard like. But these key lime are amazing. You can taste the little bits of graham crackers too. So good. Highly recommend.

Chocolate chip
Chocolate chip is good tasting but has a dry texture. All in all a good dairy free high protein bar.
