I like that it has both internal rechargeable batter and c-cell battery options.
After a couple of tree related power outages last year I decided to review/increase my emergency lighting options. I chose this lantern specifically because of the c-cell battery option on top of the internal rechargeable. Seems like a solid design for extended outages/usage where you are unable to recharge the unit but have a stash of batteries on hand.I also like that it has a simple dial control, compared to some that have a button that changes light options on each press. Not that a button is difficult, but it's just easier to turn a dial than to press a button multiple times to get to the lighting option that you want. The light brightness ranges from enough to easily navigate the house on the low end to bright enough to light up the entire room at the high end. I haven't run it continuously to test it's charge run time, but I have used it multiple times around the house for lighting up dark corners behind furniture, rooting around the crawlspace, or sitting outside and so far it's still on the charge it had out of the box.Lastly, it has a USB port for charging a phone. Possibly useful in an emergency. Presumably that option will work off both the internal battery or external C-cells. But I don't know that for certain. If it does, though, that makes this a great option for converting C batteries to phone charging, a very nice bonus in my mind. All in all seems like a solid unit and I am very pleased with it.

Ouch....my eyes!
All I can say is wow! I have a led lantern I've used on camping trips that use D batteries and it works very well. I've also used it during a power outage and it was good to have. I decided to get a rechargeable version of the lamp and decided to get this one because of the brightness and the ability to recharge. This thing is BRIGHT! It's definitely brighter than my other lantern and it's smaller. Don't let the small size fool you. I doubt I'll use the full brightness, but it's good to have. I'm using this lamp for power outages. I haven't done an endurance test on this, but I'm sure it'll do great. If not, you'll see an updated review.

Almost perfect
Small size, USB rechargeable and capable of charging other devices, really like the dimmer switch feature, easy to carry...... only problem for me is that when I try to charge my iPhone 7 it doesn’t work at first. If I turn the dimmer switch on and then back to off .... then the iphone starts to charge. But if I turn the light back on, the phone immediately stops charging. Tested on two fully charged lanterns and the results were the same. In a true emergency this would be frustrating. Generally though, a good product with a lot of flexibility.

GREAT lights!
After the last hours-long power outage, left with only flashlights and candles to light portions of the house, I said "ENOUGH" and purchased two of these for future power outages/emergencies.All I can say is WOW! Each of these lanterns lights up an entire room. Small and compact, but daylight 😎 bright!I have two flashlights made by LUXPRO (one battery, one rechargeable) and both have proven to be extremely dependendable, so I'm very happy to find these lanterns by them. Really appreciate the battery/rechargeable option on these.Pricey, but absolutely worth the peace of mind.

Great Lantern
Having dual power is a HUGE plus that has come in handy a few times already. The light, even at the dimmest setting, is plenty bright to get around the house in the dark.My only gripe is that it uses micro-usb connector. Would be great if it was USBC but, USBC to microUSB adapters work just fine.Otherwise, it's great!

Got 3 of these for the cabin, no more worries
These give me the confidence to not worry if the power goes out. The C battery option is nice, but better is the micro-usb charging. When camping or anywhere I almost always have a battery pack for my phone, and this can recharge the light easily. That is my main reason, because I dont always have C batteries, but often have a charging brick. Great lights.

Everyone needs one of these!
A wonderful little bundle of light. Without electricity for 5 days in winter this little gem lit up my world - good for reading or whatever you need. The charge lasts about 12 hours. A real must have for anyone who is likely to be left in the dark!!
