Levit8 - The flat folding portable standing desk,Sea,X-Large

I purchased X-Large based on some comments here (I'm 6ft tall). That was about 3" too tall, and doesn't match up with their sizing guide at all, which is unfortunately not included in the listing. The XL is for people over 6'2"Furthermore, the X-Large doesn't have free returns (as the Large and Medium do) so now I'm stuck with two of them that I am unable to return.

If you are over 5'9, get an xl. Ergonomically, this will be eye level if you are sitting. If you are standing, you will be looking down. So, your standing will need to be limited to avoid neck strain.This stand isn't perfect, but it will do for most. The top is open, so it is appropriate for a laptop with a wide base, but not a monitor. It also does not offer space for a mouse, so you will still be using the one built in your laptop while standing.It is sturdy, more sturdy than the metal ones with spindly legs being sold on Amazon. However, it is expensive for what it is, so be aware of that. I needed a replacement for the boxes I was using as a riser, so this will work for me for now.

I cannot recommend this highly enough. It's very study, and can be packed up and tucked away quickly. It took me a few tries to get the folding down, but now I don't even have to think about it. I bought two, because I have a laptop and a monitor. I do wish it came with something flat to put on top for holding up things with a pedestal base (like my monitor), but I make do by putting a hardcover book on top of the stand, and then putting my monitor on top of the book. If you're looking for a portable, affordable, stow-away standing desk, you've found it!

This item is similar to the product description, but its not really useful. I wanted to use this for my laptop when sitting cross legged; this kinda works but is very awkward to actually use. The lack of a top is annoying. Also folding/unfolding it is very unintuitive. I don't think is the worth the price.

I could not be more happy with this purchase. This is best idea! I love that it collapses so easily and how light weight it is. Finally I have a way to bring a standing desk anywhere! I was worried it would not balance my laptop well but it is very sturdy. So easy to put away and hardly takes up any space. Like many mention, it takes a few minutes to figure out how to use it. I probably spent 10 minutes practicing and watching the video. But once you figure it out, it could not be easier. Takes me one second now to open and close it. I just can’t speak highly enough of this product, it’s GENIUS!

I bought it to put it on my counter table so that I can keep my head straight, not look down below. I am using a wireless keyboard, so the typing is so easy. Really good solution for my back/neck issue!

I am using using the portable standing desk as we speak to write this review. Like so many people I work out of multiple locations (including coffee shops and kitchen tables). I am on my laptop a ton and hate sitting for extended periods of time. Have a good standing desk at home but have never found a truly portable solution, until now.The Levit8 is the perfect solution for me. It is very light, incredibly sturdy and folds completely flat. You can easily take it anywhere. Very impressed with how stable the work station. I am 6'1" and I chose the XL (16 inches) and it is perfect for me.A few responses to some other comments/reviews I have seen: - initial assembly was easy and intuitive. Have seen a few comments that people "couldn't figure it out." Well it took me about 10 seconds and believe me I am no mechanical genius over here. - it is ideal for a laptop. Even though the standing desk is very sturdy, I find it most sturdy to rotate it (see pic). However it is not really suited as a monitor stand and if you use a mouse this is probably not for you. - finally, be prepared to make some new friends when you use it. Literally dozens of people have commented or asked me about the desk when I use it! -

I regret buying this. There are other products less $ that more useful. Return not acceptable

I wanted to be able to stand and work/browse/etc at my home desk. I honestly didn't think I'd end up with something that looks like a cross between a vase and a trendy office bin.I'm writing this standing with my keyboard sitting on the XL sized Levit8; XL size is probably pushing it a bit for my desk as it adds another 40cm height. It's probably not ideal for just a keyboard as there's clearly nowhere to rest the palms of your hands, but having tried it with a laptop plenty of times, that's perfectly acceptable. Once you've learned to wrestle it into shape from its flat layout when boxed (google for the video), you'll have spotted that one of its USPs is that you can store it flat or carry it around if you're that way inclined.So, yeah, it looks a bit unusual, but it's very effective, relatively sturdy, pack-away-able and a bargain to boot. Nice one.

The purpose is not served well with this design for a desk. There's no space for keeping mouse if you use it as laptop stand. Better products are available in the market at competitive prices to serve the same need. Waste of money.
