Krusteaz Zoom Quick Hot Cereal, 100% Whole Wheat, 18 Oz Boxes (Pack of 12)

I had never heard of this all-wheat cereal until visiting a small local store--I thoughtKrusteaz only made pancake mix--but here's a flavorful, aromatic instant hot cereal that is fast to prepare, healthy, and can be enriched with a fruit of your choice, or walnuts or honey or dates or whatever you crave. I also discovered that purchasing in large amounts resulted in great food bill savings.

This has been one of my favorite hot cereals for years but is now almost impossible to find in grocery stores in California - easy and quick to cook but a good texture and rich, wheat taste. Particularly good with dried berries added (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries) - this will change the color but adds a richer flavor. Amazon sells this product as a case of 12 boxes at under $3 each. The shelf life of this product is about 1.5 years.

I use to eat this for breakfast when I was growing up and then I couldn't find it in the grocery stores anymore. So I was very happy to find it here. I ordered a case of it and love it. Great healthy food without all of the crap added to it.

This cereal is a lot like Ralston that I grew up with. I like to alternate between this (whole wheat) and oatmeal for breakfast. It's quick and I really like the flavor and texture.

We love the flavor and texture of Zoom, and I have trouble finding this in my local grocery stores, so even though it takes the two of us quite a while to work through 12 boxes, it is well worth it to us. Quality packaging so it stores fine at room temperature. On days when the texture is a little too 'assertive', I'll mix in a little Cream of Wheat when cooking.

I used to buy Ralston Hot Wheat Cereal in the grocery store because it is wheat flakes instead of farina like Cream of Wheat. I haven't been able to find it recently in the store. The Ralston cereal is available on Amazon, but it is $9/box.After much searching, I finally found this Zoom cereal. It seemed similar so I ordered the case. I'm glad I did! The flakes cook quickly and have a great flavor. I don't mind that it is a case—hot cereal is great for Winter mornings.

Great on a winter morning

For a long time, my husband has complained that he would like some Ralston hot cereal like he used to get when he was a boy growing up. You can hardly find it anymore, and most of the rolled wheat cereals are really expensive, too.I found this Zoom, which is basically the same thing as Ralston, and it came in a pack with several boxes in it, and was very affordable . My husband just loves it , so it was definitely worth giving it a try !
