Happy kids
Great product. I was initially dubious due to the size of the parts however seeing my son making the robot was great. He had no issues. It’s great that the pack comes with a poster effect to help with the build. If I have one negative then it would be it’s not easy to break. That’s not a negative for many however having a son who builds breaks them rebuilds everything, it’s really difficult to break apart. Again not a negative for many as it’s super strong and can be played with once built

Lovely construction set
Some pieces are impossible to connect, so adults supervision is required. Keeps you entertained for hours

Great gift idea
This is such good value - the items you make are bigger than you’d expect and I love the retro feel with the pixel type art.

Small and hard to put together
They are very small and hard to put together.

So fun!
These are so fun and my kids can play with them for hours! It enhances fine motor skills and creativity. They are incredibly small though... smaller than a penny, so keep away from children who still put things in their mouths.

Pixel pictures you can hold and wave around
I bought this for my five and a half year old daughter. She's had lots of fun creating the unicorn and then carrying it around to watch other things with us. I had friends look at it and ask if it was melted beads. It's very similar, but you can take it apart and make a different image without buying more beads. My daughter was concerned about the mermaid eyes though. She didn't like that they weren't the same or able to have eyelashes. So if your child is very particular about things like that, I'd recommend using some of the included extra pieces and make the whole face the same color.I've found them satisfying to use as well. The snap together with the same satisfaction of putting together puzzle pieces, but with these, they always fit! I highly recommend this for any child (or adult) who is old enough to not swallow the small pieces, but loves arts and crafts. The re-usability makes them a wonderful present!

Fun and well made
I bought this set on somewhat of a whim, just to see what they were like, and overall I have to say that I'm pretty impressed. Although the individual pieces are a bit smaller than I was expecting, they are quite well made and generally fit together snugly. You do occasionally get two that don't really connect firmly, but its really only an issue if its on an outside edge. Overall the consistency of the pieces is quite good. They're also quite fun to play with, Assembling the predesigned figures is really only the beginning - after that it's time to come up with designs of your own. They actually work quite well to make retro 8-bit designs, if you want to build characters from NES-era games. I plan to buy some of the other sets to expand my collection of pieces/colors to make new design options available.I do have a couple of complaints, but they are overall minor: one is that all of the pieces have a definite front and back. The front is a nice matte finish: the back has a number stamped in it (I assume the number refers to something in the manufacturing process, like which machine that particular piece was made on so they can track defects. When you're putting the pieces together, you want to make sure that they're all facing the same direction for the best look. It would also be nice if the pieces came in a resealable bag. You have to rip open the bag they come in to get them out, and the box has a whole in the front to show off the pieces. Its not that hard to find a bad or container to store them in, but it seems like it would be very easy to make the bag they come in originally resealable. As I said, fairly minor complaints. Overall, I think the product is quite good, and hope they release some additional sets.
