Caught Fire!
Review Title: Caught FIRE!When I first installed the Rockville RXD-M3, I was really impressed. It had plenty of power to push my pair of Sundown E-10 V.3 D4. They sounded great and the amp didn't really run hot at all. I thought I'd found a real budget Gem. I WAS WRONG!After about 2 weeks I was listening to a good song and the amp just shut off,but the powerlight stayed lit and I started to see smoke coming from under my truck's hood. So I lifted the rear seat and pulled the power wire right out of the amp and when Igot under the hood I had some rubber insulator on fire from where it had heated the body ground and caught fire. During its meltdown neither of the 2 Rockville main power fuses popped or the fuses in the amp itself.I contacted Rockville and they sent me a replacement amp ( brand new one this time)The 2nd Rockville RXD-M3 started much the same as the first. Thinking that I may have been pushing ti just a bit harder than it was designed (Gain was originally set about 75% ) I rolled it back to about 60%. It worked fine till mid August and then just shut off one the way home one day. upon inspection this time the main power wire fuse next to the amp had blown. So I called Rockville and sent it to them and they repaired it and sent it back.Still 2nd Amp 3rd time installing it first repair. This time it seemed to run well plenty of power and i used it several times a week without incident. I was on my way back from from a 15 minute drive and listening to something at a moderate volume (16 out of 40 just to give you an idea). I heard the unmistakable sharp pop of a cap blowing, the music stopped but the power light stayed lit. I started looking for a place to pull over and it started Rolling smoke like it was a diesel truck. As soon as I got stopped the truck was filled with smoke so I again yanked the power wire out of the fuse holder this time, I also noticed that i had smoke flowing out of the ports on my speaker box. Turns out while the amp was eating itself it kept feeding raw power to the subs. One of the subs coils is completely melted and the other looks damaged. When I called Rockville the CS rep sent me a shipping label and I told them I was done with that amp. They said they would replace it with another brand from a sister site they used called AudioSavings. I also suggested that they should replace the subs too. None of that happened, I just got the the box from them and it is the same amp with a new repair.Plenty of Power but will catch fire. Save yourself and get something else.

Good clean power.
Right now I have it on my w6v2s. It was on my zvxv212. This amp let me tell you is phenomenal. No pun. It makes clean power of 1000+ watts rms. It sounds good and takes it. Isn't too power hungry. The wire kit that came with it is all true spec ofc and is a very high quality set. I can't speak for Rockville other stuff but this stuff is great. I know they get bashed. Up against my Taramps smart 3 this thing gets up there cleanly. I would recommend this amp and wrire kit no doubt. I wish the terminals were a tad bigger as I run 1/0g wire.

Works well with competition grade subs
Powers two k9s with a 200amp alternator and 4 farad cap consistently bursting will not go into protect mode⚠️ WARNING with a stock alternator it will go into protect mode it's not enough to charge the amp costing you a battery replacement and alternator

More powerful than it should be for the money
This amp is driving an older (circa 2010) Rockford Fosgate P212D2 subwoofer, which is 1000watts RMS (CEA). It's connected in 1ohm and the amplifier is pushing it perfectly. I appreciate all of the adjustments on the amplifier (low pass, high pass, subsonic, signal gain, bass boost) and the remote volume control. When connected to a quality head unit they aren't necessary but it's nice to have them nonetheless.

Great value
Great power and features for the money. Small footprint for the power output. Shipped with 0 gauge wire, not 4 gauge and I had to buy reducers ($20) to get the wires to fit. Wire is pure copper and very high quality. I'd buy it again.

Great for the price
Very good quality amplifier and wiring kit. I have it connected to 2 12” Rockville k6 subwoofers and it hits hard. I am very satisfied! Plus it didn’t break the bank!
