TOTO MS853113E#01 Eco Ultramax Round Front One Piece Toilet, Cotton White

I had several issues come up as I shopped for a new toilet. I'm 5'4" tall, and I HATE all these tall toilets on the market. I mean, COME ON- you have to be at least 6' tall to keep your feet on the floor. Then there are all these turbo-assist flushers that wake up everybody in the house if you flush in the middle of the night- never mind that it scares my grandkids so much they refuse to flush it. And let's not forget the supposedly water savers that take three or four flushes to clear the bowl and still DON'T....Anyway, I looked at all the big box stores and even checked to see if they could special order anything. All I wanted was a normal size toilet that would flush properly without turbo assist noise. No luck there... After researching on the internet for a long time, I decided to take a chance on the TOTO. It seemed odd to order a toilet on the internet, and it shipped by UPS freight- which meant I had to pick it up at their warehouse , but the research said it was worth it. And boy was it right! I LOVE this toilet. It's the right size, it's flush is very efficient- I have not need to flush it twice yet and trust me, I've challenged it thoroughly. I'm happy with the noise level and I'm confident the grandkids will be comfortable using it. I'm considering replacing all the other toilets in my house with TOTO toilets....

We've had this toilet installed for three years now. It looks great, we like the one-piece design, and install (by my handyman husband) was easy. The problem is that it's a horrible flusher. We have this in our master bath, so two people use it 2-3 times per day (max). Yet, this thing manages to be plugged, clogged, and slow to flush about 80% of the time. I've had to double flush, I kid you not, a #1 with four squares of TP (because, thanks to COVID, I know exactly how much TP I'm using). Don't even get me started on the nightmare of trying to flush a productive #2. Then, in the very likely event that you'll find yourself having to use the plunger, good luck getting a seal because of the shape of the bowl. Both of the standard types don't work. Chances are high we'll be replacing this practically new toilet because it doesn't reliably do the one thing it's made to do.

Absolutely love it. Good working, strong flush, really nice toilet. Totally worth it and wish I'd have bought 2. I also bought the drake, which I love - but this one is just the perfect size for your smaller bathrooms. I really love it. Showed up quickly and was in good shape. Very easy to install.

We wanted a toilet that had low water use and clean lines. This product fulfilled our expectations.I have seen recommendations that you are better to buy a two-piece toilet since they are easier to install, but this one did not turn out to be particularly difficult. Because of the nice tapered shape it is not too bulky to manhandle into place. The great advantage of the single piece design, of course, is that it is much easier to keep clean as there is no crevice between the tank and the toilet to collect dirt.It is very low water use and that seems to function perfectly. One great advantage of that is that the tank fills very rapidly, so if someone is in the shower, for example, it is much less disruptive in terms of changing the water temperature.I would definitely recommend this product.

We have an old home with 90 year old plumbing. Other toilets were constantly getting clogged and overflowing. We purchased the Toto Eco Ultramax for our downstairs powder room about a month ago, and have had no problems with clogs since! It doesn't use a lot of water, but empties perfectly with only one flush. We love that the toilet lid closes slowly and quietly - no more slamming of the seat from the boys! We also love that the tank is connected, so it is much easier to clean. I would have given it a perfect rating except that the tank extended back further than we realized and we had to cut into the beadboard on the wall behind it to give it enough clearance. But if you measure correctly (which we obviously did not!), you may have better results. Great product. Will definitely purchase again to replace aging toilets in our other bathrooms.

I don't like the way the lid fits onto the toilet. It's not level, so you can't place anything on top or it will slide off. It's got velcro to hold it onto the toilet and I doubt that will last long. The lid also came with a noticeable imperfection under the glaze, but it would be a hassle to return it, so I'll live with that.Also, I guess I'm not used to such a small toilet. It feels kid-size or something, but so far it functions well and I'm sure I'll get used to it in time. I am impressed that 1.28 gallons flushes so adequately!UPDATE 1/18/2017: The water fill valve now seems defective and causing "water hammer". I called Toto's customer service tech support and they were very good. They're sending me a replacement valve but didn't seem to know of any defects. However, I see on Amazon that the Korky replacement fill valve corrects that problem, so obviously others have encountered this.

I wanted a Toto toilet for this guest bathroom and found the perfect fit. It’s a round toilet and works great in this space. This bathroom is more like a powder room but has a stand up shower. I highly recommend this brand and model.
