Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Deluxe Class Sunstreaker Figure

One of my favorite characters from the original cartoon. Glad to see him back on the team. While all of the figures from this wave are repaints/remolds of the stunticon wave I think it's a good looking Autobot team. Sunstreaker by far being my favorite in vehicle mode. All of these figures feel about the same, lightweight plastic. I like the hand/foot/gun for him, it looks a lot like his air scoop on the G1 figure.

My nephew loves transformers. All types of them and he begged for this specific one at Christmas. Who was I to say no?You can't imagine the look of delight on his little face when he opened this guy up. "OH! It's the YELLOW ONE!" He played with it all day long and even had it out when we were talking yesterday. Sure, four-year-old boys are easily pleased....but this has been a hit for at least 2 months now and goes with him everywhere. In his backpack to school. In his coat pocket to church (sshhh!) and even in the car, just to pass the time between stops/errands. It has held up nicely--and we all know boys are rough with their things. At least THIS boy is.I'd buy it again in a heartbeat and am already planning which ones to get for his birthday; If you know a boy who loves Transformers toys, he will be happy with this one.

This figure was really good the articulation is nice it just sucks that its a repaint. However the figures paint is nice but it is a little to chunky overall its pretty good.

This is a yellow toy, imagine that. My hubby saw it and was immediately like didn't you order the others? I didn't know that if you buy them all you get the big guy from transformers. Maybe I should have read. I just needed another toy to be at a certain price point for my nephew. The packaging was great, toy is in great shape, overall seems like a nice item.

Didn't open package till I was ready to wrap gift on 12-20.found package smashed and cracked around toy and top part of package peeled back halfway.can't tell how toy is untill removed from plastic carton.Will wait till son openes at Christmas if he wants to return it.

A nice update to Sunstreaker. The Classics mold is nice, it really is, but it works better as Sideswipe, I think. This guy feels like Sunstreaker, he looks like him, and he's nice and easy to transform. I can't really ask for more...except... I'd like his engine block to fit closer to his back and stay that way. Due to his transformation and the fact that he's combiner, concessions had to be made, but they're not a deal breaker.
