Works really well, nicer than CHIRP
Works really well. More user friendly than CHIRP that I use for my other radios.

Long delay but worth it
It has been delayed for a very long time. Manual programming of the radio is very difficult.It arrived yesterday and I put immediately. My ICOM 2730 is programmed and working fine.

This software and cable is hands down the best you can get for programming your ham radio. No bothersome USB to serial adapters and drivers that may not work .Eliminate all the frustration and get on the air fast...Cut and paste repeaters between your various radios and save tons of time. You can also down load from free online repeater directories to save even more time.

I wish I could have given a better review
I tried and I will not recommend this software. It would be nice if RT Systems told you up front that you pay for download and not software. I found out after opening the box only to find the key for an online download. When it comes to software, I like CDs. I even spent extra money for the Windows version since I'll be getting another PC laptop. i called for a question and got some rude little man who then said "let me get someone else to help you" because I told him to stop talking over me. Little wimp. I tried to let the tech person probe and ask questions so as to let him get to the root of the problem. He got flustered because what was on my screen didn't match his screen. The reason why our screens didn't match was because he never asked me what operating system I was using. He was looking at Windows. The person helping me was able to determine that from asking the version of the software. What irritates me is that he assumed that I wouldn't know my own operating system. The damn laptop has a big Apple on it, yeah, I can tell you it's OS! Never assume. With consideration to the cost of the software and I hate that the cables are proprietary tot he software(if I'm correct), it's not worth it. Customer service was an epic fail.
