I have bought and sold 3 homes over the last 15 years and I have added one of these to every shower. They are amazing.I was skeptical at first because I like to read the reviews as much as possible and I base my choices on the best reciews but I do take the negative reviews into consideration.I used to go to Home Depot for shower heads and they were always so expensive and they are no reviews! So Amazon here we come. I tried the first one I bought and immediately fell in love and the. Quickly purchased two more for the other showers in the house.There is a trick to making these last a long time. You must use the little roll of Teflon tape they give you and be sure to use it correctly.Apply the tape to the already installed pipe fixture and wrap it opposite of the way the shower head screws on. Then be sure to change out the filter inside the shower head as described. I change mine out every 6 months.When I 2ould sell the homes I have owned I always leave the shower head and have my realtor explain to the buyers how nice it and inexpensive to replace the filters.I have never had a problem with them (knocking on wood) like other have had however I will say that this is a reputable company and I am sure they would work with you if you did have an issue.You don't have to take my word for it but I will say I was not paid to say this, I can't stand those reviews, and I was not given any free products.I thoroughly urge everyone interested in a great shower experience to use these shower heads. Just follow the directions! You won't be sorry.Thanks!

This shower head was EXACTLY what I was looking for. No other shower head comes close, even luxurious expensive ones, over $100. I’m rather afraid of “jinxing” it by writing this review but I’ll update if my current opinion is challenged.I have severely sensitive skin prone to rashes eczema dry yet oily skin, cysts/boils, redness, the whole nine yards.. so my goal is one that alleviates my skin through softening or filtering my hard water.You can check out on ewg exactly what is in your hard water of your current area so you know what your shower head filter needs to be able to filter out. Upon reading in depth I found this shower head filters all that I needed.. I hadn’t come across one shower head that filtered every metal or mineral in my water but this stayed it did.I’m a bit skeptic of everything because I’ve tried so many things and have gotten inconsistent quality in Amazon products. So when I received my order I wanted to make sure that my shower head and filter were brand new. There have been times where I’ve bought shower heads off amazon or even other sites and they were clearly USED, which is disgusting. And worse, one filter had dead fleas when I opened up my package. I freaked out so bad.. Anyways, where I made my mistake was upon trying to unscrew the Pure Action shower head to check the filter. The front part, the face plate where the water comes out came undone instead. That part unfortunately is easier to unscrew so don’t hold on to that area when you’re trying to unscrew the handle from the grey body which is where the filter is located. Be careful! Once that was unscrewed, no matter how tight I tried to screw the front of the shower head/face plate it wouldn’t close the gap completely and the front streams a little leak of water when turned on but it’s okay since that water would have already been filtered. But I can’t bring myself to return or get a new one. I’ve loved this shower head so much and honestly it was my honest mistake that made it leak slightly at the front. I’m thankful that at least this product was most definitely brand new and unused. Thank goodness!Overall the showerhead is fantastic. It’s light, not sturdy that it’s unbreakable but it does exactly what I need it to. Must I say my skin seems relieved already after a week? My hair is also not weighed down by buildup from hard water. It’s actually softer!Im actually thinking of investing in another shower head for trips. Maybe one without the handle so it’s easier and faster to attach. I wish I knew about this product before when my hair and skin were dying in college because of the hard water in the dorms!

This is a fairly nice shower head for the price. The instructions contain 4 steps and this requires only your hands. My complaint with the instructions is that they say to wrap the thread end of your shower with teflon tape (a generous supply is included) but they make no mention of wrapping the thread ends on both the connection from the head to the supply line and from the supply line to the shower head holder. I did so anyways to ensure no leaks, still had plenty of tape left over, and no leaks. I am disappointed that the supply line from the holder to the shower head is as short as it is. It hangs well above the tub line and if your littles use this you are likely to wind up with a soaking wet bathroom. I tried, unsuccessfully, to retrofit my old supply line but it wouldn't fit. Close, but the tolerances just weren't right. Also, call me picky but, the whole assembly is plastic with a chrome mask. It just feels to light and to cheap. Two extra washers were included with the kit with no explanation as to their presence in the kit or what they are for. Simple deduction says for both ends of the supply line, but.... Installing it was easy, 10 minutes tops and, again, just your hands... no other tools. It has a great three pattern spray and compared to the rest of the water in the house it feels heavenly. I live where the water is hard and there is a ton of lime and other nasties in the water and right off the bat I could feel the difference. This really is the sole reason I bought the unit, for its water softening abilities. I would like to see them either include a second filter with the kit and/or sell additional filters here on Amazon. It gives you a product number but it sounds like it is a replacement head or a different kit, not the filter. It is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months but I have a feeling here it will be every 3 and I'd love to be prepared. Additionally, just grabbed the supply line to move the head and the decorative cover just separated (see photo). Kind of bears out my thoughts that it is too cheap a kit.Biggest pro: this truly changes the quality of your water... luxurious.Biggest con: torn... either the short supply line or finding replacement filters. Or both.Would I buy again: probably. I'd like to see a more sturdy set with a longer supply line.

Love this shower head best investment. The pressure feels amazing after a long day.
