Excellent board!
Works great for loading boot loader and sketches to an ATMega 328P. You can't buy a ZIF socket alone for the price of this board. To use, load "ArduinoISP version 04m3" from github as a ketch onto an Arduino.Uno using the Arduino IDE. Install the shield onto the Uno. Look under "Tools" of the IDE and go to "Programmer:" and select "Arduino as ISP". It is now ready for programming. To load the Bootloader onto the 328, insert the chip with pin 1 next to the lever ofthe ZIF socket and lock it in place. Look under "Tools" if the IDE and then click on "Burn Bootloader". You'll see some led's flash and hear some beeps. It will tell you that the bootloader was successfully installed at the bottom of the screen of the IDE. Bootloader is Installed. To load a sketch onto the 328, open your sketch and insert the chip with pin 1 next to the lever oft he ZIF socket and lock it in place. Look under "Sketch" of the IDE and click on "Upload Using Programmer". DO NOT CLICK ON "Upload". If you do you'll be programming the Uno and not the chip and will have to reinstall "Open Smart ISP back on the UNO. After some flashing led's and a beep, the IDE will show that the sketch was uploaded to the chip. That's it.

Couldn't get it to work with Arduino
I am able to use the shield with USBasp programmer but never could get it to work with the Arduino ISP sketch. So it works for me but not how it's intended to work.
