Very good investment
The Maxwell Rc8 arrived very quickly and from what I see it is a very good product, is very sturdy. As soon as I have time, I will install on my boat. The company that sell the product has a very good management.

Perfect fit.
I own a 2003 carver 366. This was the same brand as the old one we had and fit the same drill holes. We have a very small cubby area for access but overall it took about 3 hours and 2 people. Works great very fast and I use 115 ft of chain attached to anchor. Very pleased.

SKIP THIS SELLER!!
Bought this windlass for my Catalina 36. The winch is working great but the up/down switch was faulty. The seller has not replaced it despite my sending the bad one back. SKIP THIS SELLER!

Solid equipment
This was a drop in replacement for my maxwell freedom 800 windlass. Ran great with a 5/16" all chain rode.
