My daughter has stick straight hair and is very slippery when trying to braid it. I apply this on her hair before I braid and it helps give it a little more texture which makes it easier to braid. And then when she takes her braid out eventually, she has beautiful waves that last.

I use this on my 7 year old daughters hair after a shower and then I braid it into two side braids. In the morning her hair is so super curly and beautiful. Smells yummy too.

I bought this to help with my daughter's flyaways when braiding her hair. It didn't help with her little baby hairs in the front but I feel like it somehow made her hair easier to braid. The baby hairs are cute anyway so I'm not that disappointed it. I sprayed a lot of water in her hair and worked 1 pump of this through each side. I feel like it did help secure the layered sections a little better in her hair but I haven't seen how it looks at the end of the day yet. I mainly gave this a 4 star review because the scent is to die for. I got it on my arms while braiding and I can still smell it hours later at work and I LOVE it. If I could find this in a body spray I'd throw all my money at them. I am not sure that this is worth it, it's quite expensive and I also bought a spray gel to see if that helps with smoothing her hair at all. I will update once we have used this for a while. I'd like to see how it looks tomorrow when she takes the braids out.

My daughter loves this. She applies it and braids her hair at night to wear it wavy the next day. This product makes it so her hair is not frizzy when she brushes it. We love it.

Great product; only issue I have is $23 for 12 ounce bottle! Use sparingly-if possible. Quality over quantity.

Smells great! My kids love it but I’m not sure it actually does much. I don’t think will buy again because it is a little expensive for not much impact

My daughter (12yo) loves this braid balm for keeping her baby hairs in Dutch braids. She has very curly hair and hates when the baby hairs pop out and give her a halo. It's a foam, and is a little sticky on your hands afterwards, but not sticky in your hair -- it's lightweight. The smell is also really good! Very beachy!

have used it on dry hair before braiding and love how it holds and the waves after taking out the braids. Hair is soft, not sticky.
