*Metal ring fits around the Oasis Pearl 16oz bottle. This bottle is smaller than the all weather bottles and has a different bottom than the small screw on type. (See photo)For over a year I've been trying to find a holder for a 16 oz water bottle. I've bought a couple that *said* they were for 16 oz but weren't wide enough to hold even a 12 oz.This holder fits both 16oz bottles I have -the Oasis all weather and the Lixit one that's identical to it. It even fits my 12oz glass bottles. The metal ring only fits around the glass bottle, but the bottles stay firmly in place anyway.Pros:Can be setup in any cage or tank using a screw, Velcro, or by bending the metal back piece over the tank or bars. Instructions are on the back of the package.Protects the entire bottom of the bottle from curious teethExcellent price!Con:Metal ring doesn't fit around some bottles. It can be taken out and replaced with a custom length of wire, however.

It's been awhile that I ordered it so I can say I like it because the nozzle of the bottle is protected and is stable. I don't have to fix the bottle that much like the other one I had needed both hands to adjust the wire to put it on or out and tying it down so it won't move. PUT ATTENTION ON THE SIZE. the bottle I had buy it for was too big so it didn't fit, lucky I had one the right size so it workedout fine. I don't have to struggle to put the bottle in all the time, (just at first because it goes inside the cage and have to adjusted it right, after that, is good).

These protect bottles from chew and last years! They make noise if hung inside a tank. I have used a felt pad used for the bottom of a chair leg on the bottom base back, for animals, like a guinea pig, or rat, who will bang it against the glass tank making an early morning or late night racket when it drinks. It really does prevent chewing... these are a great design. Be sure to get the correct shape bottel to fit inside.

It was exactly as described. I love that it attaches to the cage. The flimsy little wire that normally comes with the bottle was not holding it up at all. Granted, my girls are rough and they yank on the bottle which would knock it down, but even with it just sitting there, it’d fall down at random times. Finding this one was such a relief and I haven’t had an issue since. Very sturdy and gets the job done!

You can't just use any water bottle. Only my Oasis bottles fit. That said, I love them.
