Quite expensive little bit of framed cpl film but it works well ,easy to stick on and removes reflection items away from view for example if i put some paperwork on my works vans dashboard this reflection would show and obscure a lot of the intended field of view. But the filter removes almost all of the reflections showing full screen .. it is also quite good again for removing reflections on oncoming vehicles windscreens and you get a better chance of seeing the drivers face /actions e.g. mobile phone use / applying makeup / flipping the bird etc

Trust me … the dashcam will reflect your dashboard up into the image without a polarisation filter like this. It is ESSENTIAL you get this. I as a photographer know the advantages of CPL filters in reducing glare on water, glass, leaves etc. so when I heard that nextbase did a little filter for the dashcam I got the other day I was a little stupidly excited. I need to get out more!Seriously though this is great and ESSENTIAL for clear footage

It takes out quite a lot of glare but not all.

To be fair I thought it was a bit pricey, for what it is, for what is just a small piece of glass. But that's not the fault of the seller. Fitted it to my Dash Cam and it really does improve the recording quality. Should you ever need to capture finer details of recordings, it will certainly help.

I am super happy with my NBDVR222 Dashcam. I never leave home in the car without it in place. I love the new improved sleek design & the amazingly easy yet secure magnetic attachemnet is a brilliant idea. And it all fits nicely in the Nextbase dash cam case i also bought. The suction cup works perfectly as does the polorising filter and the 12v power lead is plenty long enough. I shall be buying another to go in our next new car, so all-in-all thank you for a "Brilliant" product.

Arrived early, easy to fit and adjust and the instructions were easy to follow. The uv filter is effective, and when correctly adjusted, removed the reflections as stated in the instructions. This should obviously improve the quality of the images from the dashcam. Great piece of kit!

Bought this for new Nextbase 322GW as recommended to have one. Have very wide dashboard so paper test for setup not easy. Due to small screen on the 322GW found it difficult to adjust in real life conditions at night. Impossible to see best setting as car and street lights all appeared to glare wherever I set it. . If you have expertise with this type of gadget might help. Or the time to connect to computer and playback files to see if glare reduces at different settings. Product appeared sturdy and was easy to apply. Had firm adhesive.

Does what it's meant to do. Shame one isn't included with the 222 as the image is near enough unusable due to reflections without this installed.
