PiatnikPlaying Cards Puzzle

Excellent puzzle - Piatnik always makes top quality puzzles and this is no exception. I love puzzles that are challenging but not stressful and this was just that. Top quality pieces - sturdy and well made. The subject was fun - I tend to purchase puzzles that are very "busy" and that have a lot going on in the picture so this was definitely my type of puzzle.

I bought this puzzle as a present for my parents for Christmas this year. They will love it.

As with all Piatnik puzzles, quality is good; pieces fit snugly and are stiff, image quality is very good. I liked the old card theme and assembly was more challenging that it might look. I think any intermediate level puzzler would enjoy this one.

This was both challenging and amazing to do. Both myself & my partner enjoyed working together on this and have since purchased and few more to do over the coming months (been very therapeutic).

Playing cards are Piatnik's main product, and I think they make the best in the world, especially when you take account of the huge range of packs. So a jigsaw featuring cards from their own packs is rather inevitable. The jigsaw is well-made, and a good one for solving without the picture, especially if you can use your jigsaw and/or card-playing wits.One minor disappointment - all the fronts of cards are of face cards. These are the most decorative, but at least some packs have some interesting aces and other "pip cards", especially the ones with Italian or Germanic suits. Maybe that's a chance for a "Playing cards 2" jigsaw, which could be rather tougher, as some of the others in this series appear to be.

Its fun having a game of cards, but now the puzzle is even more of a challenge.
