Great product for the price. I bought this for my nephew so he would have a good surface to use the new mouse I bought for him. I didn't want to spend too much, but I wanted a quality product that was a little large. I actually kept it for a week and almost didn't want to let it go. It is very smooth, and perhaps not the best surface for the most die hard FPS gamer. For normal applications I found this exceptional. This mouse pad was exactly what i was looking for in terms of a good solid surface in lieu of the fabric type of surfaces out there (I bought 2). The size was great and looks great. In addition to the mouse pad, I bought a brand new Logitech M525 mouse to use with it. The unfortunate part is I get very choppy tracking to sometimes zero tracking with the mouse and revert to my laptop touchpad constantly. To get moving again, I must lift mouse off of pad. If I move to any other surface, paper, file folder etc (I have a glass top desk), I get constant response. In the meantime, I have ordered a cheap fabric pad to see if I get any better tracking.**Update**: As I have discovered, my mouse art home is an optical mouse and that the laser sensor, in general, is a much more sensitive therefore a better way to go. My second Rantopad GTR, at work, I use a Laser mouse, Logitech M310 and works great. It may be more the sensor type; Laser vs Optical that makes the difference. Changing from 3 to 5 Star!

I love this pad!! I've been using it for about a week now and the difference is like night and day between the GTS and my old cloth covered pad! The extra large size suits me well and the ease in which my gaming mouse slides over the surface is Amazing!I kind of wanted the black pad but it was $3 more...silly marketers....So I got the silver and I actually love the contrast it gives to my setup!The one down side to this pad is very small and easily rectified... it doesn't come with a wrist pad. I solved that problem by taking a pair of shears to my old pad and trimmed away that nasty wrinkled pad,leaving just the wrist pad! Just a side note...the wrist pad is made with memory foam not gel. I'll never buy another gel wrist pad again..after a time the all start to leak!Overall...you can't go wrong buying this pad! It is just Awesomely smooth and slippery no matter what DPI you are using! And it is just $9.95!!!

We were having trouble with our old mouse pad which at least had a nifty wrist rest. Couldn't even play Solitaire because we couldn't get the cursor to sweep anymore. It didn't seem to be a problem with our current wireless laser mouse, so we ordered the Rantopad. Our desk space is relatively limited, and this version seemed to be right-sized. Have to tell you, while we try to avoid certain products from China (bad press/lots of warnings, etc.) in this case the product is just perfect for us. The colors in the one we ordered appears to be deep blue with sort of turquoise (?) metallic edges, although I'm not particularly good at identifying colors. It makes playing Memoir '44 (and of course Solitaire) easier. It took a little getting used to, but it is well worth the price. Might even recommend it to those friends and family members who game -- OK, or play Solitaire.

I was a bit hesitant due to most of the reviews of this product being from people who got complementary samples, but nothing to worry about as it turns out.This is not a normal cloth mousepad. The surface is hard plastic feeling with embedded glitter. I got the blue pad and I love the color and look. I have had problems with cloth mousepads, even a fancy gaming mousepad, that curl up as the rubber deteriorates on the bottom. I do not anticipate that problem with this pad, which is what I was going for. However it does have a different feel from a normal cloth mousepad - it is less padded and a cooler surface. But the optical mouse I have tracks properly with no problem. Also this pad looks like it will be easier to clean than a cloth pad.

Fantastic mouse pad. Just got it today and I can easily tell the difference with the slick, hard plastic top surface and metallic reflective finish vs. a typical fabric surface. It's much slicker and faster with a lot less resistance when moving the mouse across it; great for any kind of fast paced gaming i.e. FPS, MOBA, etc. The bottom surface is the typical mouse pad rubber but about half as thick and keeps it in place very well. This pad works great with my laser mouse and the size is much larger than a standard mouse pad.. It's almost exactly the size of a standard 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper which is plenty of room. I have it setup in "portrait" orientation and will probably add a small wrist pad to this setup.

I absolutely love this mouse. As both a gamer and a developer, having a large surface area like this is perfect. This is a well constructed pad too. Rigid on top with good grip on the desk surface (I have a glass desk) and it just looks good. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a large mouse pad for business or fun.

If you can ignore the branding on the pad, which isnt that bad in the first place, its a great mousepad! No need to drop 30 bucks on a namebrand like logitech or steel series pads. This will suffice and is just as good.I play MMO's, MOBA's, and FPS games. This has been my new headshot assister.
