Very nice knives. These are definitely great as a gift.

This is not a leave it in the sink knife set. Wonderful edge for meats. Bottle opener on scissors does not work.

Nice, sharp and unlike Henkels didn't rust. Not too heavy and comfortable in my average size hand. Time will tell how long it will stay sharp. Have to keep my old sharpening steel to set the edge as this set didn't have it.

Just arrived today. They have good heft and appear to be well made. I haven't put them to use yet but they're sharp so I expect they will cut well. Magnet sticks to the stainless steel blades so I can't comment on the actual quality of the blade material. But, a magnet sticks to all of the stainless steel utensils in the drawer both old and newer, USA, Japan, and china made, so there's that. Overall I think they're worth the cost. And I like the length of the 5 inch blades.

It is hard to find good carbon steel knives. Everything today is stainless, which is great for haphazard care of the knives but a poor choice for maintaining a SHARP edge. Carbon steel was the preferred material for GOOD cutting tools for centuries. It is still an excellent choice if the user is willing to spend a few extra seconds to care for them. It's worth it! Learn to care for your tools. Take the time to do so, and enjoy them for a lifetime.

The media could not be loaded.  My current knife set, non serrated, were expensive, but do not cut through even a sandwich without difficulty. These are totally AWESOME. They make cutting up fruit, vegetables, or anything you would cut up easy. I highly recommend this and it has a convenient block stand to sit on the counter, instead of having to put them in a drawer. Well worth the money.THESE ARE TOP QUALITY AND DO NOT STAND THEMSELVES UP UNSAFELY. NOT SURE WHAT SET THE OTHER REVIEWS ARE TALKING ABOUT. THESE ARE FANTASTC.

I was very happy to see the quality and sharpness of the blades on this knife set. Very good bang for the buck.

Really great knife set . Just one or two of the knives handles had minor scratch on each of them but overall great set I’m please with my purchase.

I was iffy about buying knives off the internet because last time I did the knives were dull. These was are very sharp and the weight of them are nice and balanced. They feel like good quality and im very happy with this purchase. Would highly reccomend these and they seem like they are as good as knives double the price

these are nice steak knives. They have good balance, have a nice cutting edge and look like a quality knife. I like the size; they are about the same length as a regular dinner knife and are comfortable to hold. I was resistant to buying these at first because the description said they came with a knife block and I was concerned they would be like a Bowie Knife but that proved not to be the case. They are a nice sized knife that will fit well on any dining table. I would recommend them to friends an family.

I have been guilty over the years of purchasing OK products at a cheap price.This Kinfe set is not OK - it is unbelievable for a price of less than £70 - such quality, sharpness, balance and value - fully recommend the set to any home chef.

It’s definitely not a premium product, nor is it German made (although branded accordingly)But the knives are good enough, decent quality.
