I was skeptical at first thinking that there's no way something can keep a puzzle in tact and be able to roll up. Well I was half right. It does keep most of the puzzle together when it's rolled and the little bits that come apart are easy to fix.What you'll have the most trouble with is thin completed bits, like edges where only one row of pieces are together, will sometimes come apart. Granted, they're still in the right spot so fixing it is pretty painless.But that's not even the reason for the loss of a star... (it's a physics issue, not a design flaw I think)The one issue that I have with the product is that it's made with a fibrous mat that it not 100% smooth.Now I don't know the logistics of making this product, nor do I know about the testing that went into choosing this material as the final product but what I do know is that because it's fibrous and not totally smooth, the pieces do not slide well on it. They constantly catch on the fibers and if you're trying to slide a particularly large section to another area, it will catch and break apart in most cases.Now there are probably dozens of ways around this so it's not a deal breaker.- You could probably cover the mat with some artist paper or large piece of wrapping paper to make things slide easily.- Maybe there's a spray that would encapsulate the fibers more and still allow the mat to roll up. (I've not looked into that though)- What I have done... I have a thin piece of plastic-coated, cardboard (like you get in the mail advertising deals from cable companies) that I slide under large pieces that I want to move and use it like a spatula. (a postcard or birthday card would probably work well too.)But other than that, I have no gripes and it basically does what it says it does. Comes with a nice bag to keep your wrapped puzzle in too which is neat.Hope this is helpful and happy puzzling!

I’ve only used this once so far, and wasn’t particularly impressed. We have a small house, along with 2 and 4 year olds. Doing puzzles, which I highly enjoy , hasn’t exactly been feasible. I got one of these for my birthday in the hopes that it would allow me the flexibility to start puzzling again (of course I STILL don’t have time, because kids 🤷🏼‍♀️😂). The one time I did use it though, it definitely wasn’t the answer to all of my prayers.The pros:- the color is mild/easy on the eyes- design SEEMS good- rolls up easy- easy storageThe cons:- not enough room to store loose pieces (I typically just use both sides of puzzle box for this, but I’ve also seen some neat puzzle piece organizers here on Amazon.com that stack for easy storage)- doesn’t hold puzzle together completely while rolled up so it has to be fixed In many places when opened back upThe bottom line is that I think it’s a bit overpriced considering the design still has many flaws, but it works alright for getting puzzle-in-tigress out of the way!

This is a great size and keeps most pieces in place when rolled up. The one drawback is that it doesn’t lay completely flat. It comes folded up, not rolled, so there are several creases along the length & width creating humps in the mat. This is pretty annoying. I really wish it was heavy enough to lay flat, or sent rolled up instead of folded as not to create creases.

Got this for my dad my only disappointment is that the tube doesn't actually attach to the felt roll. It would be nice if the felt had a sleeve on one end to slide the tube into so that you could roll it easier and keep it square. But over all it's a good product and seems to be well made. The felt is nice and thick and sturdy.

Love love love this matt. Great that it has a blow up tube to hold puzzle when rolling. It has 3 straps to hold the roll in place and a sleeve for carrying. I’ve had others that didn’t work as well. I would highly recommend this product

I bought this for my wife. I’m happy because we can put away her puzzles. It’s a great size for larger puzzles.Having said that. The puzzle shifts an little bit when you’re rolling it. You do have some minor fixes to the puzzle when you unroll it.Still worth it .

This is a decent product, especially for the price, but it was shipped folded up and so it arrives with creases that prevent it from lying flat. I'm going to try steaming them out the next time I use it, but just a heads up that it's kind of frustrating right out of the package.Otherwise though, it's great. It's made from thick felt and had an unobtrusive grey color. I've only used it to play 7 Wonders on, but I plan to do a jigsaw puzzle soon & am hopeful that I can get it to lay flat by then. I'll update if I can't.

Great storage for puzzles. I bought this one because of the round puzzle outline. Helps keep puzzle safe from my cats when I’m not working on it.

I liked it a lot. It’s just that some of the puzzle pieces fell out when I rolled it up
