For under $200, this is a great machine!
I never write reviews, but if you’re like me, you’re going to research new coffee machines like it’s your second job… hah. So here I am, about a month into owning the 10 cup model with an honest review. I LOVE IT. Between me and my husband, we use it 2-3x a day and have nothing but praise for it. We are not coffee snobs by any means, but we wanted to get away from kcups/nespresso pods (due to the waste) and after using a Keurig for many years, decided to make the switch to this very popular machine. I didn’t have too many requirements other than something programmable and the ability to brew different amounts.I’ll start with the things I love about it:1. Easy setup + use. After everything was washed and I ran a clean cycle, the machine was ready for use. To brew coffee, you select the size then choose if you want “classic” or “rich”. Once you select, it starts blinking and then will begin to brew shortly after. Brew times are fairly quick, no complaints there. A full carafe (on the classic setting) brews in roughly 8 minutes. The delay brew option is easy to use as well. I usually set up the machine at night for my husband so he has coffee waiting for him at 5:30a when he gets up for work. The machine brews in a few minutes and is fairly quiet — it does beep several times once done, but does not disturb me or our young toddler. I don’t find it loud or disruptive.2. Features. Honestly, this machine is well equipped for under $200. Several options for brew sizes, the classic vs rich, option to brew a specialty 4oz cup (not espresso since it doesn’t get hot enough, but I’m not picky and it works for a quick at home option), brew over ice, and of course the built in frother. It would be nice if the frother warmed the milk too, but I just pop it into the microwave to heat prior to frothing. Froths nicely! I also really love the included measuring scoop. It attaches to the machine for convenience. I follow the guides for number of scoops and use it every time I need to measure the grounds.3. The aesthetic look of the machine and feel of quality. It looks nice on my kitchen counter and doesn’t take up a lot of room. Plus it’s nice the frother folds in to make it even more compact. The included glass carafe feels good and doesn’t feel cheap or too thin. Overall I feel the quality of the machine is nice for the price.I read a lot of the complaints, which I’ve had zero issues with. There is no plastic taste/smell anywhere on the machine. I did thoroughly wash each piece and ran a clean cycle prior to use, but I didn’t even notice a smell when I unpacked the machine. Coffee is plenty hot and there is even a “stay warm” feature you can choose after brewing your coffee (it does automatically come on after brewing a half/full carafe), but sometimes I will use the multi serve option and brew it into the included carafe then turn on the stay warm feature if it’s going to take me more than a bit to drink the 2 cups I usually get from it. I have never once had any grounds in my coffee after brewing. You can use the included filter or brew using #4 cone filters.I really love this machine and do not miss my Keurig at all. Of course time will tell if it stands up to daily use, but as of now I’m thrilled with this purchase and hope to have it for several years. Hope this review helps someone! Enjoy ☕️

Pour over no more!
The “specialty” button on this model makes a better cup of coffee than my pour over method, not exaggerating, which I’ve done for years. Read on for tips.I first bought the Ninja model without the “specialty” button at the store- and then got on amazon and realized that the store didnt even have this model. So I returned that and ordered this. While the specialty option does not taste just like an espresso, that’s fine with me because the flavor is fantastic (Gevalia Colombia!) and honestly I don’t like how compact and thick espresso tastes, to drink every morning anyway. (I returned a Nespresso before buying this. Not for me). I use just 2 “big scoops” instead of the 4 recommended by Ninja, and it is the tastiest coffee, rivaling fresh ground bean pour overs and beating most, which is a shock to me. I think if you used the 4 “big scoop” recipe it would work well for drinks with milk. I don’t drink milk in coffee but can imagine double the strength working fine for that purpose.I no longer have time in the morning for pour overs, unfortunately, but this machine is really making it easy on me! I am in love with just touching a button and walking away- and getting better tasting coffee! It “blooms” the grinds and has a showerhead water dispenser, so it might just work better than a pour over, in terms of consistency. This recipe is strong, though, so I often clean out the filter and just hit the “classic” button again, into a clean glass, and use most of that water to dilute my drink. The idea is that coffee is simply less bitter the less time water is running over it. So brewing a lower yield cup for shorter time, and then adding clean hot water to taste, really does rival a pour over. I do this even for a half carafe- just select a lower yield option (see the quick guide) checking that the brew coming out never becomes that pale brown color (that’s the bitter part). Just always clean out the used grinds to get some clean water. You have to play with the preset output options and amount of coffee to make a larger quantity this way. But it’s way less time to do than standing over the grinds and pouring yourself. My main concern is heating water inside plastic, which is why I started using the pour over method. I wish Ninja would make it BPA free and label it as such, as some other brands do. I was not able to find a machine without plastic, and the BPA free brands had some bad reviews about performance, which I don’t have time for. So Ninja, if you’re reading, please make your coffee makers BPA free as I know lots of people won’t use coffee makers due to the plastic. I just have been forced into using a machine, so, taking my chances but really enjoying the coffee. If you are looking at other Ninja models, or other single serve option coffee makers, this guy has it all and performs very well. You can go from a single morning cup to making a full pot, and all the milk drinks. It does it all. I read so many reviews and they are right. This is a great machine.I store the water tank in the fridge when Im done to prevent mold growth. There is definitely water inside the machine after a brew (same as any model) so dont let this sit unused and definitely run the cleaning cycles as recommended. I will be keeping my eye on where the water goes in.But the removable tank is easy to pop in the fridge. I really like that.Ok! Please click helpful if this helped you! I am late to work now but wanted to help you out! Have a good one and hope you buy this guy! :)

Amazing coffee maker well worth the price
This coffee maker is amazing! I love the brewing options, easy of using the machine and overall functionality. It takes up very little space and is hser friendly. The taste of the coffee is great. My previous coffee maker the fancy programmable keurig duo. I love this one so much more!! The programming and design is far better in this machine.

We like it!
I've had this for a couple of months and we are very happy with it. I use the delay feature everyday and we use the Specialty to make Americana's in the afternoon. I only wish the water amount was controllable instead of pre-set measurements. The 1/2 carafe is too much for my husband and I, so we either have to toss the remaining or do the individual coffee settings.
