The Original STEP Exercise Step Platform, Health Club Size Stepper for Exercise at Home with 4 Stackable Risers for Height Adjustments

I purchased this step with six risers to have more options to be able to go as high as 10 inches. It arrived in perfect condition and looks great. I cut up the box to fit the pieces so I can place them on it and easily slide under my bed for storage and back out for use: one for the step, and a couple more for three stacks of 2 risers. I love the non slip material on top of the step. I have an old step from the 1990s with a different design that only goes to 8” and had a hard plastic top with a raised design that isn’t near as skin friendly, so this Freestyle Step is a big step up. :-). I feel like I have a professional quality piece that will last forever.

Very well made; sturdy and works as intended. I opted for this style because it is the same as my physical therapist uses, No wobble, sturdy (mine is on an area rug, at PT it is directly on floor - doesn't move around either location). Accurately described including height specs. If the price works for you, I recommend. . SOLID!! Also a bit bigger than others, but I have zero concerns about this breaking down like some others do that are cheaper. I bought another step about the same time as this that was half as expensive...it was also about half the size, and made in China, so I didn't even open the box once I saw how well this one was made. I also got the square version of this so I could get this up to the full 12" so I can use it for YMCA step test for fitness evaluations with clients. I could have just bought the extra risers, but they are smaller sized and the money was the same to just get the 12" square step that has 4 risers itself. It is solid as a rock and no wiggle with 4 risers under each side. Side note: I sent first one back because adhesive on top was not applied well and had air bubbles below it, but second one was fine and the tread has great traction.

I love everything about this aerobic platform!I love the fact that it's so sturdy. I never feel unsafe when I'm using it, and I think it'll last for years and years, if not decades.I love the fact that I can change the height so easily. It makes the platform more versatile. (Right now, I'm just beginning step aerobics again after a knee injury, and I have it at its lowest height, which is pretty low. In a week or two, I'll be adding height to the platform, and that's so easy to do.)I love the fact that I can store it so easily. When I'm not injured, I usually store it in my bedroom closet because, with a platform bed, I can't store it under the bed. There is no "under the bed" space. Right now, though, due to my injury, I'm sleeping on a futon on the ground floor on my home, and I store this between two bookcases. It's out of the way, and it won't fall. It's so easy to slide out every morning and every evening when I do my stepping.I love the fact that the surface is non-skid, especially since I'm recovering from an injury.I really love the fact that I'm gaining strength and mobility, as well as cardiopulmonary fitness, with every workout.If you've done step aerobics before, you know how great a workout it can be. If you haven't done step aerobics, please know it's an exercise that strengthens your legs, helps your balance, and gives you a good aerobic workout as well. If you're just beginning exercise, however, take it slow. You'll see more progress if you build slowly but steadily. Consistency is the key. And if you have a medical condition, be sure to check with your doctor first.I think this is the best aerobic platform I could have purchased. I love it, and I expect to gain a lot of strength and mobility from it very quickly. It's been a real blessing for me.

Step seems sturdy, but there are weird air bubbles on the top. Going to replace for *hopefully* a better one!

Bought 2 of these for one reason and one reason only: to use as platforms for my Christmas tree. Worked perfectly when placed side-by-side. Sturdy and safe. Placed a red tablecloth around them as a tree skirt. presents fit nicely all around and on top of them.After Christmas, placed one at base of bed and another Beside sofa for senior dog to be able to get into bed and onto sofa. Works beautifully, traction makes jumping onto bed and onto sofa safe for older small senior dogs. Excellent quality easy to move. I am not older but slightly disabled. Love this product. Love that it's made in the USA. Love that on the days I feel good I can do a few steps while watching TV. Love that I can also put one next to the stove sometimes when I'm cooking and rest my foot up on it. Love that I can put one of the steps under my desk and use it as a foot rest while I type. Love that I can put one on the floor beside my coffee table and use it as a little bench for coloring At the coffee table. Little kids love this. No, nothing snaps together. There are no snapping sounds. The bases just nest/ fit nicely together and move apart easily. I'm 200 pounds and I don't feel as though that's a problem. Nothing shifts or moves everything is safe and fine. Don't worry just get it to try; you won't regret it or you'll find lots of uses for it, just don't stress out.. Enjoy. Life is too short to ponder this for long. It's a practical gift to yourself. And there's no other way I can reach the Christmas tree stand to water it!
