Brought this for my granddaughter
This book is a very good book on explaining everything that happens to a girl’s body as she grows up. But not full of adult things either. Glad I got this book . Will same for my other granddaughter.

More like a clean teen magazine
Not really what I was looking for. I wanted a book that helped clarify some of the toughest, most embarrassing questions that she may not understand after we have our talks or if she has curiosity. I wanted a Christian resource for her to turn to. This is all about taking care of "your temple" via diet, exercise, and beauty tips. It seemed really superficial to me & could cause body issues! It might be fine for girly fun reading but it's not a book for the tough issues.

Very helpful and informative!
I am very glad that I was able to find this book for my daughter! She is entering the puberty stage and I have talked to her about this already but she loves to read so I thought this would be helpful and informative for her! It has been great and I'm very happy with it. It is a safe, faith based book/ devotional for her and anything she has questions about she asks me right away! I am very pleased with this and I would recommend to anyone with little girls in this stage of life! It has helped us out tremendously in these awkward stages of growing up!

Great books for a mother and daughter or mentor and younger girl.
Currently in the process of reading this with my 11 year old daughter, and so far so good! I've been through all topics and I really like them. The devotions are an added bonus. My daughter asked if she could read some of it alone, but we are definitely talking about all of it.

Not what I though
I got this for my 9 year old who has started to show some pre-puberty "symptoms" and I thought this would be something we could read together and use it to reference things. I read the first few pages myself and was caught off guard since it started talking about " noticing boys and getting a funny feeling inside my body"I know my 9 year old doesn't notice boys like that yet and is oblivious to any "feelings" about it. I felt like reading this now would cause her to think about things that she may not understand. So I've put it on the shelf for now, because I know one day it will come in handy since it had great reviews.

My daughter is 11. She loves this book, ...
My daughter is 11. She loves this book, even travels with it, reads a bit here and a bit there, and will occasionally tell me that her book said such and such, I dont think when we ordered it it was going to such a big hit. But she loves it.

perfect gentle approach for girls
My daughter enjoys the approach in this book. The optional tips on how to do different beauty tricks are great too.
