Arm Sleeves UV Protection for Driving Cycling Golf Basketball

Finally giving in to my dermatologist's nagging, and recognizing the unavoidable effects of the southern New Mexico sun, I caved and bought these sleeves as an adjunct to the usual golf shirt. Fantastic! Just the right snug fit. Easy to put on after the second time; you do expect to just slide them onto your arm but there is a much better technique to learn. They do not hold the sun's heat on your arm (multiple rounds 100+f). They have held up through all the washing machine cycles. I do air dry them to ensure the comfortable amount of compression holds up. Sadly, they have not helped lower my scores much. I'd still buy them again.

I feel like I hit the jackpot! These are so comfy and really do feel cool and refreshing. I’ve worn them in 80 degree heat and it was fine. The ekeastic upper band tended to slide down a little bit not enough to be annoying. I prefer a bit looser fit so it was bit an issue. As a bonus-I’m always cold and it’s also great wearing indoors especially with AC Unit running. It’s hard to explain how comfy it feels - I’m not too cold not too hot; just right. I love being able to keep a pair I. The car and in my purse. No more dragging around an extra pullover or jacket to keep warm or sun protected. It’s a win win!! I typically hate long sleeves- but these are great. Versatile and fun colors.As for UV Protection, I gave it 3/5 because it’s just so hard to make a comparison. But, I haven’t had any skin burning issues. As a bonus I’m a bit more confident I won’t get mosquito bites as much either.Lastly, I like the plastic pouches each pair cones in. Easy to carry around.

I was very pleased with the colors and how well they work with most anything you want to wear. I have only worn them once but they did the job. They provided total sun protection in 98 degree heat and amazingly I didn't even feel hot wearing them. I'm guessing if I should decide to wear them in winter they should keep my body heat in making me stay warm. Their ability to expand while holding their shape and still providing UVA/UVB protection is great! I'm a smaller person and they worked fine but I let my brother (who is average height) borrow a pair and they worked just as well for him. The only reason I'm giving these a four star is that after wearing them for several hours the sleeves started to slip down a bit. Nothing too bad but I did pull them up a few times. Overall, it's a great product and does what I need it to do, keep the sun's ray out. The pros of this product definitely outweigh and negatives. I doubt any other sleeves could do any better, especially for the price.

Durable and does what it has to for the arms

I work in a metal shop and protecting my arms from heat and potential hazards is crucial. The arm sleeves helps shield me from sparks and metal fragments while providing some relief from the heat generated by machinery. However, I've noticed that the sleeves tend to feel a bit loose after a couple washes. While they serve their purpose to some extent, there's room for improvement in terms of durability for daily use in a metalworking environment. Then again this isn't what this was made for so I can't complain.

I love these. These are not compression..which is great for me. I'm old and I sometimes feel cold on my arms, and these are perfect to add to an outfit with short sleeves when I feel cold or when I'm am outside in the sun. I also get scratches from my dog and this keeps him from introducing new scratches to my forearms. I'm old and even a little rough housing leaves these blood red splotches on my forearms (even though my dogs nails are professionally filed with a Dremel). I sometimes use these at night because my arms are out from under the covers. These are stretchy and comfortable... not cutting off the blood supply. I'm not a small armed person either. The compression ones are just too darn uncomfortable for me. To be honest, I don't think that someone who has big man guns would be totally comfortable. The stretch is pretty amazing, yet they have good and close cling coverage at the same time. Easy off and on when I have a task (ie, washing dishes) and need to remove them for a moment.

The place where I work recently started some construction, and part of the new protection requirements are long sleeves in the construction area. Since it’s June, it only took me a couple of days to realize that my small collection of long sleeve shirts was not going to work in the heat. I noticed a coworker had removable sleeves, so I asked him about them, and he sent me the link to these, which he had previously purchased to provide sun protection for his arms while out on his boat.These things work great for my purposes. Much cooler than any of my shirts, removable for when I leave the construction area, and comfortable. My only regret is that I only bought the 2 pair pack the first time. I just placed another order today for a 4 pair pack.Highly recommended as a lightweight, comfortable, easily removable sleeve option.

I bought these to hide my easy-to-bruise forearms (actinic purpura) and have been wearing them when I'm out and about, also while working in the yard and garden. They really are cooling as long as there is a breeze or you are moving. Easy to wash. All colors have been piling slightly (hence 4 stars) from wearing and rubbing on my clothing. I wear sunscreen also so cannot attest to their sun protection. This group seems to be a bit tighter on my biceps than the previous set I purchased (same brand - different colors). Still, a nice protection and disguise for my sun damaged arms.

Golfing

I suffer from arms that are sensitive to sunlight, so I find these to be great. They feel cool when first put on, then I forget that I am wearing them. Gret when driving or cycling.

I have made numerous purchases of UV sleeves. I ordered the KMMIN uv sleeves because as a golfer, I wanted more colors to match with my golf polo shirts. These were a total disappointment. Unlike other manufacturers, they easily slide down and you constantly have to lift them back into place. A total pain. The problem is there is no elastic or anti-slip feature on the upper arm. Not a good investment from my perspective.
