Seems like a good alternative for days when I can’t make fresh food for my dog. Only complaint is that, while you have to crumble them apart before adding water, be very careful, there are small pieces of bones and stuff in there. My fingers got punctured unsuspectingly.

My dogs love to eat these broken up over there canned food. They like the taste but I think they like Stella & Chewys brand a little bit better. Think it's good to change it up if you can. The quality is very good and the patties usually are not broken up in the bag

My husband and I have a 1 year old pitbull lab mix. He is a very picky eater, we buy very expensive grain free dog food which he refuses to eat unless there is something soft in it, too. We were using coconut oil or raw egg but it became expensive and he was having runny stools. We bought these freeze dried pellets and he loves them! I experimented heavily with the best way to moisten them. When I receive the bag I sit and crumble all the pellets into a powdery substance with my fingers. With the large bag this takes me 30 minutes, but saves tons of time throughout the week! Then I just take out the right amount and combine it with water when ready to feed him. With about a minute of combining it's all moist and no dry bits left at all! Then I toss it with his dry food and give it to him. He LOVES it!!!

Our Cavalier loves this food. It is pricey but she gobbles it up which was not the case with her previous food. Our only complaint, which is not their fault because it happens often, is that many of the medications were broken. She eats two medications per meal so when they are broken, it harder to get the exact amount. None the less, the price was competitive and it arrived on time.

This food is really great for backpacking trips with your dogs, since it is so lightweight and mixing it with water helps them get some additional hydration. At home he used to never be interested in morning meal but with this stuff he gets very excited. I feed him slightly less than what is recommended for his size since he is not as active at home. The medallions crumble easily so be cautious when shifting thru the bag or storing it. The aroma is strong when water is added but it goes away quickly as my pup eats his meal. Very happy with this food.

My dogs beg now any time I walk to the pantry. I give them the freeze dried meals once a week as kind of a treat and nutrient supplement with their regular dried food I leave out for free feeding. It does take a lot of stirring to absorb water. I usually just try to break the medallions up to mutiple little pieces and make sure water gets to all pieces when I’m stirring.

This is supposed to be an amazing product. It has a very nice sweet baked kind of smell when you buy it from a store. I bought it for first time from Amazon - just for convenience - the price isn't much different than the store - but the minute I opened the bag a strong rancid smell came. It is quite awful although the expiration is only next year. Wonder if the seller storage or transportation practices maintain decent temperature or they allow the product to get super hot. The bag needs to go back but Amazon tells me it is not even returnable! This is way too expensive at almost $40 and too important to my dog's health to use it rancid. Very disappointing and frustrating.

I needed to buy orijen in an emergency and this was the only next day delivery option besides buying another huge bag. My dog (bichon) absolutely loved this. I mean he absolutely loved it and got truly excited to wolf it down. He was a bit gutted to be out bac to the original orijen kibble afterwards (but for mega bucks I paid for this bag, he was definitely going back to the other kibble). Could rate highly enough. Price is painful though!!

I haven't even tried this product yet - the ingredients look top notch and my dog isn't fussy so I'm pretty safe to assume he'll wolf it down. So why only 3 stars? Well, simply the cost. I hadn't done my sums before ordering (got it to take away camping soon - dog is fed raw and seemed a great option convenience-wise) - but at approx £1 per medallion, and dog will need around 5 per day (7 month old cockapoo) - that's at least 5 times the cost of his current food. Jeez

My dogs love it, 2nd only to K9 Natural Freeze Dried Raw. Being freeze dried, it's the most convenient was to feed my dogs as I can use as little or as much as I need without the waste.
