It's a tricky thing lots of steps to get it open but very nice and a fun puzzle.

Gave these as gifts to older grandkids and everyone loved them. Made a great Christmas present and we put money inside.

The box looked great. It was just complicated anough to make it a challenge for three family members. It was neat to see how it functioned. I put a present on the inside for the birthday girl. Great value for the price

EDIT: after reading my review, the seller reached out to me to offer a refund. A+ customer service, thank you.The box looks nice, the pieces move a bit stiffly at first but if you work it two or three times they should loosen up. My only complaint is the lock/key. I made sure to turn the key in the right direction but the lock was so stiff it still bent the key into a twist. I was able to straighten it out, and oil the lock, but the metal the keys made of is so soft I’m pretty sure it’s going to get bent out of shape again. At this price point I’m not expecting amazing quality, but I do at least expect it to not break on the first use

I absolutely loved this❤️❤️❤️❤️ I gave this to my boyfriend as a gift and he loved it. He loves how it had a secret compartment to store the key for the jewelry box or whatever use you want it to be. It’s like a puzzle. You have to figure out how to use the key or where is the key hole as well.. like I said not only is beautiful and well crafted it’s also entertaining and amazing to look at.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. He’s all into the wooden puzzles and this made a great addition to his collection!

I bought four of these boxes as gifts. When they came I was immediately aware that one was opened even without moving any puzzle pieces. It was broken. I then informed the company which sent another one; although that one came quickly the company sent it quick. But the corner of that box was broken also. They tried to glue it back together. But it just looks second hand. These are gifts! Then lastly today, I sat down to check the other three. To which all of these have a flaw and are not worthy to be given away as gifts. None of these worked properly. Four of these were sent broken. I would not recommend!

My son was vey impressed with this box and the amount of time it took him to open it. He loves puzzle boxes and if they are beautiful to look at the better. This one was a hit with him.
