Perfectly adequate
I purchased the classroom pack of fraction circles to help my niece who had fallen behind in math and was taking remedial math classes, and still struggling with fractions. For a kid her age, it is quite difficult to get her to actually manipulate these as she views them as children's toys, but it was still a good tool to help her visualize fractions, and was a lot easier than cutting out paper circles. In the end, she was better able to solve basic math problems with fractions using the tiles to help her than without them. I only have two issues with the circles I received. First; the product description claimed that each piece was labelled with the fraction's value in white writing. This was not the case with the set I received. However, the pictures did not show this feature, so I was not really expecting it, anyway. It would still have been a nice addition to the set. The other issue is that the product picture showed that each set came in a hard cylindrical case, and my set had no such individual cases. I would have preferred this, as it would have made it easier to keep them organized. But each individual set of 51 pieces came in its own plastic baggie. The product itself seem to be well made, they fit together nicely, and their colors are bright, uniform, and distinct. The accompanying tub is large enough that it can hold all the tiles, even when separated by fraction value into different baggies, but it is not so large that it takes up more room than necessary. The price was quite reasonable for what I received. The best thing about this product is that they work as intended; they help give kids a concrete idea of the concept they are learning.

Great Product, but Miss the Cases
I am an art teacher who loves to make interdisciplinary connections. I use "Picture Pie" by Ed Emberley as a wonderful resource for exposing younger students to fractions in a non-threatening way. At a former school, I used these circle fraction pieces kind of as a puzzle to put together within the plastic cases. The students really responded to that and I really liked how the cases made it easy to see if anything was missing; however, at my two new schools, neither had the circle fraction pieces available. I bought these because of the main picture that includes the plastic cases, only to find that there are no cases that accompany the fraction circles, anymore. I've contacted the ETA hand2mind and they do not provide the plastic cases, nor do they know of anyone who makes them. So the actual fraction pieces are just fine and exactly as described; however, I gave this 4 stars I was expecting the plastic cases as visible in the picture primarily used to advertise this product.

Not shipped as pictured
I was disappointed the set did not come with the plastic containers shown in the picture for student storage.

Did not arrive as stated or as pictured
There were three disappointing features in this set. #1, the product description states that the value of each piece was written on them. When my set arrived, they were completely blank. #2 They are pictured in hard cylindrical cases, but the set arrived in individual pastic baggies in a plastic storage container whose lid does not lock. #3 the plastic used seems like fairly cheap quality. For $80, I was hoping for more.
