Right shims for a Dana 30 out of a CJ7
I originally purchased a Yukon Master Install kit for my 1984 CJ7 as I was changing the gears over to 4.10. Unfortunately the pinion depth shims that I received in my "without crushsleeve" dana 30 kit were for a Dana 44 and were too large to fit into the recess of housing behind the race. After some quick searching I found these Motive 1112 pinion shims and got them in today. Make sure you measure them twice before you install them. I was able to get them installed, and my final pattern is shown above. Can't wait to try out these new gears!
