CoastalPet Rascals Latex Hamburger Dog Toy 2.5-Inch (1-Unit)

This was my second purchase of this dog toy. My two dogs love the squeaky sound and it is small enough to fit in their mouths. However, I only gave it four stars because this time my dog was able to chew it apart. The first time, the toy lasted until it got lost.Did the quality change?? I don't know.

My puppy loved the hamburger toy but, the squeaky never did anything. I was probably more disappointed than he was. But he loves the toys that make sounds. The toy has nice colors and is soft for puppies.

I don't usually leave reviews on amazon, but considering the trouble I went through to find a worthy replacement for our old Hartz Hamburger squeaky toy, maybe my review will sway others to shop here first.The toy is latex, soft, and very squeaky: Exactly what the old Hartz toy was. Every other toy like this was brittle, cheap, didn't squeak, or failed in some way or another. Because it's latex, it doesn't crack like regular plastic toys.Like others have mentioned, it is a little smaller than the original, but other than that, it is a spot-on replacement. Because of the size, I wouldn't recommend for larger dogs, but for a dog like mine (a Yorkie), it is too large to swallow and provides him with a lot of squeaky entertainment.If you liked the original Hartz Hamburger, you'll love this one!

Product was tiny. All of the pictures show a larger hamburger. Even the ones in the comments show people holding it and it looks large. The thing is so small my large dog could swallow it while. I’m glad she just likes to carry them around and doesn’t actually chew on them.

This is the favorite toy of our 10 lb, 12 year old dog. He loves it because it is small enough to fit in his mouth and soft enough that he can easily make it squeak. So far, it's held up to his rough play and abuse with no trouble. I definitely recommend it to anyone with a small dog who has lots of energy to burn off playing with his/her toys.

Should have read the dimensions closer!! This thing is tiny!!! The squeaker lasted about 1/2 hr. Too much money for what I got.

My dogs have been playing with hamburger toys for years, since Hartz was making them. I was hoping these would be similar but they are of a harder latex, less pliable, and my dogs were excited when they saw them but have not touched them since the first day. This is certainly not the fault of the seller and I do not mean to indicate that. I was just not overly pleased with the product.

I have been looking for a replacement for my dogs Hartz hamburger. I read on the reviews that others posted & that helped me make my decision. When it came in, we gave it to my dog & he went crazy. He had torn his other one up & it was dry rotted, but we didn't throw it away. It had no squeaker & was only half there, but it was his favorite toy. This one is smaller, that doesn't make a difference to him. What does is the squeaker. It sounds different than the one from Hartz...higher pitched or something. As long as we don't sqeeze it he loves it.
