CamelBakEddy+ Bite Valve and Straw, 2 count (Pack of 1)

I am constantly losing the nipple on my bottle because I alwasy forget to fold it down, so I got these. When you take them out of the package, the slit from which you drink is not cut all the way through (I assume to ensure that it doesn't leak once it does get put on), so you have to bite on it sideways to get it to pop open, but I'd rather have that then have one that's cut so much that it leaks. The nipple and straw are very easy to install, it takes less than 30 seconds to do it on your own. If you know what the bottle is supposed to look like, i'm sure you will have no problem installing at all. The nipples are so leak-proof, that when I took it on an airplane, the pressur built up in the bottle so that when I did drink from it, it squirted like a tiny fire hose (pretty funny actually) - just make sure you don't do what I did and squeeze it with your hands - I hit a guy in the head with water from 4 rows back. The water stays fresh no matter how long you leave it in the bottle - it doesn't get skunky like water does when left overnight, which I like because it saves a lot of wasted water than could be used for other things. Both pieces can be easily cleaned with a straw brush. I love this product and the bottle that comes with it!

I got this 750 mL Camelback over 10 years at a back to school event and I love it. I love the bite valve. One day I discovered that somewhere between work and home the bite valve came off. I’m glad I thought to check and see if replacement parts were offered. Other comments said these don’t fit the old bottles, so I was hesitant to purchase. Worst case is they don’t fit and I return them. Well they fit perfectly. The straw IS too long as many have said. I will take the straws to work and see if my pvc cutter will work because nothing I have at home can cut these straws. I’ll update my review if that is successful. Next day update: PVC cutters cut these straws nice and clean.

It fits perfectly, but all I needed was the rubber bite valve. CamelBak doesn't sell just the bite valve. You end up buying two straws and two bite valves, most of which you don't need. CamelBak should sell five packs of the bite valve. Many people, my wife included, don't use the straw.

I have a 25 oz bottle so the straw was too long as it’s for the larger size bottle. But that’s on me because I didn’t read the description close enough. But the bite valve works fine…

Works perfect for my camelbak waterbottle

When I ordered replacement bite valve & tube for my old camelbak water bottles, I didn't know that there was a new Eddy+ version. If you have old bottles like mine you should look for "just Eddy"...not Eddy+. These replacements barely fit the old bottles...so they DO work, but are not totally secure.
