DANGER....Electrical components EXPLODED
This product worked just fine for approximately one day, then began flickering and sputtering Before the power supply literally exploded! ( see attached picture) It was plugged into a grounded surge protector that was installed approximately 3 feet higher than the water source. I am thoroughly convinced this catastrophic failure was due to shotty electrical components inside the power supply. Will not be purchasing again.

Nice!
Compared to other mist devices I've purchased in the past, the volume of mist produced is very low /lacking. Somewhat disappointed.Update: once the water level dropped it produces a nice amount of mist. Possible the bowl was over filled? Cool product.

I placed this order December 30 and it produces nice lights and mist. However since Dec 30 I have already gone thru 2 mist makers. That means that so far each one has lasted about 1 month, so unless you are looking for a one time use, I wouldn't recommend. I had hoped that after the first one broke the 2nd one would last longer, but it hasn't and now the window has closed for my return. The Mister did come with a replacement disk but once used I wasn't able to loosen the washer to replace the disk.

works great!
Bought this simply for the transformer (much cheaper than buying the transformer by itself). It arrived quickly and works great in our mister (or as the little kids call it, "the steamy plate".) Actually, I even think this one works better than the original, in terms of mist-making.

Haunt your world...
"Haunted" jack o'lantern project worked like a champ with this fogger. The colors it produces are bright and the mist rolls well. All of these types of foggers will spit a bit. This one is no different, but it does an excellent job at what it does. Would definitely buy again.

These are fun. I put mine in a big clear glass bowl and hung it outside . " It spits a bit" but Makes plenty of fog. Fun to experiment with different containers. Seems to do well in cool weather with warm water also. I'm going to get three more and put them all in one container. Cheap fun. You might want to put your container in a larger one when inside, because as I said, it does kind of spit.

Minimal fog
Lighting okay, minimal fog... I'd look elsewhere. Wait, my original rating was based on setting it up in my air conditioned workshop. After moving it outdoors, it performed much better so I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars!
