Initial review with an update after more use. This fridge/cooler is well built, tight seal with good sturdy handles for the weight of itself and the contents. Cooled quickly and quietly upon initial start up. The light inside is a bonus and I use this in my semi truck and store it under my bunk. The cords and 110v adaptor are well built and of heavy gauge. Time will tell about the durability. All in all for the price I think this is going to be a much better investment over the units that dont have a compressor in them. I will update again after some steady use.Update to purchase, lasted about 4 days before unit stopped working. Amazon made it right no hassles. I wish it would have lasted as was just what I needed.Update** After purchasing a second unit and recieving it I am returning it to Amazon. The items functions seems well built and was just what I was looking for but unfortunately the item doesnt cool as well as it says it will. My coleman thermoelectric cooler did a much better job and lasted me over 15 years. Amazon did stand behind the product and made it right.

The Skadi 32 quart portable refrigerator is a great choice for vanlifers, overlanders and campers who want a flexible AC/DC appliance. The refrigerator can be set to use Fahrenheit or Celsius. The refrigerator holds temperature very well - When set to 40 degrees, the displayed temperature ranges from 37 to 43 on the Fahrenheit scale. I've found that after a few days of running, the displayed temperature is fairly accurate.The compressor is also very quiet and I've run it in a bedroom without being disturbed. You need to attach the handles with included screws, and then you can use the handles and a couple of bungee cords to keep it from moving around in your vehicle. The refrigerator includes one removal basket with a divider and a duster. I must admit I have no idea what to do with the duster! As with all refrigerators and particularly with portable refrigerators, remember to let it sit upright at room temperature for 12 hours before plugging it in. You never know what happens to it while in transit. If you don't do this you may damage the compressor.The only downside is that it is a little skimpy on documentation and directions on how to use . As an example, their is a cool button on the display. If you press it once the color is white and if you press it a second time it's green. I'm guessing one is an Eco mode and the other is standard mode, but you won't find an explanation anywhere.I would say that so far, this refrigerator exceeds my expectations and I look forward to continuing using it for upcoming adventures.

So far so good, (2 months).Freezes or refrigerates. Quiet, AC or DC.Love the plastic shell, very durable, no scuffing. Sturdy handles.

I have this freezer in my motor home. It keeps meat frozen and doesn’t take up a lot of room.
