The Motorcyclist's Guide to Scotland Paperback – 28 Oct. 2021

Superb book. Six friends and I did the NC 500 and I was the route planner. Based on suggestions in this book, we made several detours from the standard route and additionally, made our way to Inverness and back using the same process. We felt that these detours were some of the best parts of our trip.An excellent book. The suggestions for places to eat were really good, as were the musical accompaniments! Highly recommended for anyone riding around Scotland, even those who have done a lot of riding there before.

The book was more than I expected. Excellent illustration and description. Signed by the author. Brought for my dad who loves riding around Scotland- thank you.

This really is a cracking guide. The maps are super useful. The size is perfect for a tank bag window pocket. Love that is got longer and shorter routes so you can trailer to get the most out of your trip. I found the way it's written to be really interesting, I'm normally guilty of skim reading to get the gist of it but this book has a refreshing lack of waffle. It's two thumbs up from me. Great as a gift idea for the bikers in your life too.

Right size for a tankbag. All directions on one page, which makes it easier. Was in Walkerburn last week and after reading it visited Hawick museum to see the collection of Jimmy Guthries and Steve Hislop's bikes and trophies, as well as their statues. Definately worth buying.

I'm familiar with a few of these routes already (absolute biker heaven) and the author has captured the details of those perfectly so I'm very much looking forward to using this book as a guide to the roads of Scotland I've not yet experienced on the bike. Seems like a very well put together guide for the serious motorcycle adventurers. Already planning my next trip up North thanks to this.

As a local, well aware of some of the routes but very helpful book with extra ideas for days out. You can never have too much knowledge. I can see it being excellent for a visitor and hits all the roads youd want to do.Signed and a note from the author a very welcome plus.Thanks
